10TH ANNUAL HCC/AMNSCHOLARSHIP ESSAY CONTEST

DUE MARCH 15, 2013 AMN and Health Care Communicators of San Diego are collaborating once again

to offer a scholarship to a student who demonstrates a passion for the health care field. This year, AMN has increased the amount of the scholarship to $2,000. The essay contest is open to high school seniors or college students who are presently enrolled, and in good standing, at a San Diego County school.

Write and submit an essay on the topic: “Why I Plan to Enter the Field of Health Care After College Graduation.” Entries must be no more than two typed, double-spaced, one-sided pages in length. Please include your name, address, phone number, email address and name of your school with your entry.

A letter of recommendation must accompany each entry. The letter may be written by a teacher, principal, counselor or professional presently working in the health care field.

The Association of Raza Educators (A.R.E.) is determined to provide an education that is equitable to all, regardless of citizenship status. CCNMA: Latino Journalists of California http://www.ccnma.org Eligibility: The CCNMA Scholarships, including the Joel

The Resource Conservation District of Greater San Diego County (RCD) offers scholarships to encourage students interested in conservation, agriculture, environmental science, natural resources, biology or natural sciences to obtain technical expertise and pursue careers in resource conservation or agriculture.
