SBP was promoted by a group of professionals with Private Equityparticipation from the Sriram group, Ranbaxy group and Haryana FinancialCorporation. The Plant is strategically located on a National Highway on theoutskirts of Delhi. SBP started commercial production in 1989 and soonbecame a STAR SUPPLIER to Hindustan Unilever Ltd.

In year 2002 a Food and Hygiene Division was added. The latesttechnology of Flexo-printing and Solvent-less lamination was adopted. Thiswas the preferred process to print Polyethylene and manufacture packagingworldwide. After adding this process, SBP reaffirmed its market leadership inPrinted Polybags in the country. It became the one stop shop, producingpolybags & laminates printed in both gravure & flexo, solvent lesslamination, extrusion coating, hot melt coating, variety of poly bags,pouches, etc. SBP has developed special products considering the market changes andthe needs of its customers, especially Proctor & Gamble (Hygiene Division),Modern Retail and Tissues and become the preferred supplier to P&G,Unilever, Baxter, Becton Dickinson, Walmart, Future Group, etc. SBP has the best product range and capabilities in PrintedPolybag segment in India.
