Brief: Promote a charity of your choice covering a wide variety of media.

The objective of this project was to promote the UK Paralympic team at the London 2012 games through the charity Paralympic UK, which helps in the development and participation of disabled athletes in sport.

The outcome was to create an identity for each Paralympian by representing them as pictograms, and show off their ability as opposed to their disability. This was achieved by creating a set of posters, leaflets, moving image and phone application.

Brief: Produce a multi-page publication to promote an existing brand, company or organisation.

For this task, a publication was created for the company Lucozade Powerleague.

The product promotes coaching, competitions and benefits offered to children at grassroots level. The A5 publication promotes a fun and safe environment for children to improve as players and as people, learning key social and communication skills as well as the benefits that exercise has on our lives.

Brief: To promote the creators of the Football manager series, Sports Interactive’s 20th Anniversary.

This brief was achieved by creating a video advertisement, together with a poster.

The work was based on the quote “dont just play it, live it”. This is due to the addictive nature of the Football Manager series and the impact it can have on passionate football fans lives.

The detailed game play of the series can become obsessive; this obsession shows how it can spill into everyday life.

The aim of the brief was to promote Pinkstinks, which is a non-Profitable organisation that is fighting against the marketing of beauty products towards small children.

The campaign was to rebrand Pinkstinks by creating posters, T-shirts and an inspirational booklet, set around the theme “role models”.

The project questions whether celebrities today are worthy of becoming role models, and as the project went on began to encourage children to be the best they can be and not a copy of someone else.

This brief was a self initiated brief which explored the use of letterpress and whether it was truely a “dead” form of media.

The outcome was two letterpressed typographic poster’s which used cockney rhyming slang to communicate the message. The poster’s ask ‘Letta’ press brown bread” in cockney slang, meaning is Letterpress dead, with the answer, “ya avin a bubble”, with bubble a shortened version of ‘bubble bath’ which translates to “you are having a laugh”.

In addition to this I created a letterpressed version of the cockney alphabet. The alphabet is quite humorous as it creates unexpected words or phrases from the names of various letters.
