The Special Resident Retiree Visa (SRRV) The country’s retirement program is managed by the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA), which promotes and grants the Special Resident Retiree Visa to would-be retirees, and to offer a range of services, benefits, and comfort that would make their stay truly worthwhile.

The SRRV is a special non-immigrant visa issued by the Bureau of Immigration to foreigners and former Filipino citizens. It entitles the holder to multiple-entry privileges with the option to reside permanently in the Philippines. All foreign nationals may apply for an SRRV, provided they are issued an entry visa by the Philippine Embassy/Consulate. Former Filipino citizens who are now holders of foreign passports may also apply. All applicants should be at least 35 years old.

The Long Stay Visitor Program (LSVP) Making the crucial decision to retire in the country may prove daunting for some, but there is an op-portunity to learn more about life in the Philippines before taking the plunge.

The ICCRHC Long Stay Visitor Program provides foreigners with the opportunity of staying in a place that offers the convenience needed for a pleasant temporary residence over winter and at the same time learn more about this colorful and diverse country, by staying in any of 5 locations: Manila, Cebu, Clark/Subic, Dumaguete, or Tagaytay.

The facilities recommended under LSVP are suitable for long stay and offer good quality standards. All the places have a good infrastructure and provide its guests with various high quality amenities within and outside the facility to ensure you can enjoy an entertaining, healthy, relaxing and safe stay in the Philippines.

LSVP is run by the International Chambers of Commerce Retirement and Healthcare Coalition, Inc. (ICCRHC), a non-stock non-profit organization, created by American, European, Japanese and the Ko-rean Chambers of Commerce, for the purpose of promoting retirement and healthcare in the Philippines.

ICCRHC focuses on standards, fosters international accreditation and cooperation, gets involved in human capacity building, provides a seal of good housekeeping and protects the interest of foreign retirees.
