Conclusion of speaker series will focus on Vitality Health TeamVANKLEEK HILL – The Arbor Gallery speaker series will conclude on Satur-day, April 6 with a presentation from the Vitality Health Team of Vankleek Hill. The subject concerns alternative health practices and their renewed im-portance as people seek a variety of ways to maintain and improve their health.

The Vitality Health Team, now ap-proaching its first anniversary, came into existence with the goal of bringing together, under one roof, a number of complementary therapies to serve the people of the area.

Through the influence of the Internet and exposure to different international cultures and their many approaches to health, people are becoming more so-

phisticated and better informed about options for their healthcare.

In the not-too-distant past, people would have been unaware and sceptical of therapies such as acupuncture and homeopathy.

Today, they are seen as the norm and are joined by ayurvedic craniosacral therapy, Indian head massage, vibroa-coustic harp therapy, reiki and many more to treat and bring healing to such issues as chronic and acute pain, insom-nia, stress, anxiety and much else.

The therapies available at Vitality Health Team provide gentle, safe ap-proaches to healing which acknowl-edge the core relationship between body, mind and spirit.

The therapies encourage the body’s

rhythms to restore their balance, thus enhancing the body’s self-healing and self-regulating capabilities.

The therapists at Vitality Health Team do not see themselves as alterna-tives to allopathic (western) medicine, but as offering a true complement of approaches to achieve the best possible outcome for those seeking help.

Everyone is welcome to this pres-entation, which begins at 7:30 p.m. at Arbor Gallery, which is located at 36 Home Avenue. Admission is $6 per person at the door. Refreshments are available.
