The Review.ca Wednesday, April 13, 2011 19 Katie Allen, head coach of the Rebels was recently chosen Female Aca- demic student - Athlete at Bishop’s University. Katie has been a member of the women’s rugby team for the past five years. She was also named an aca- demic All-Canadian (students who achieve 80% or better while playing on a varsity team). In addition Katie won her team award and a memorial award for dedication to her sport. Katie continues to enjoy rugby by coaching the VCI girls team on their trip to Kamloops BC. Following graduation as an elementary teacher in May she will be returning to her job with the Chad Harden Chuck wagon Racing Team in Alberta.
