Summary

The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 (NATO reporting name "Fishbed") is developed inthe Soviet Union interceptor. Already in 1959 put into service, the MiG-21 is themost produced combat aircraft since World War II and the most numerous jetaircraft ever, with about 11,000 copies. With more than 50 years of production, it isalso the longest-built fighter aircraft around the world and stood at about 50 AirForce on four continents. It also makes Aircraft with more than 20 versions in fourgenerations. Among other things, the legendary single-seat variant of MiG-21 MFand two-seat variant of the MiG-21 US. Also be produced in the People's Republicof China today MiG-21 variants, known as the J-7. Even today, includes some 500MiG-21 and more than 1000 J-7 / F-7 (Chinese copies) to the inventory of the AirForce in the world. Not least, the MiG-21 was the most important Fighter aircraftof the Air Force / Air Defense of the GDR with more than 20 years.

The Mikoyan MiG-29 is a 3th generation jet fighter aircraft designed for an airsuperiority role in the Soviet Union. Developed in the 1970s by the Mikoyandesign bureau, it entered service with the Soviet Air Force in 1983, and remains inuse by the Russian Air Force as well as in many other nations. NATO’s reportingname for the MiG-29 is "Fulcrum", which was unofficially used by Soviet pilots inservice. It was developed to counter new American fighters such as the F-16Fighting Falcon, and the F-15 Eagle.

The Su-27’s basic design is aerodynamically similar to the MiG-29, but it issubstantially larger. It is a very large aircraft, and to minimize its weight itsstructure has a high percentage of titanium (about 30%, more than any of itscontemporaries). No composite materials were used. The swept wing blends intothe fuselage at the leading edge extensions and is essentially a delta, although thetips are cropped for wingtip missile rails or ECM pods. The Su-27 is not a truedelta, however, because it retains conventional tailplanes, with two vertical tailfinsoutboard of the engines, supplemented by two fold-down ventral fins for additionallateral stability. The Sukhoi Su-27 is a one-seat Mach-2 class jet fighter originallymanufactured by the Soviet Union, and designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau.

1. For FS2004 download the „AFS-____-FS9.exe“ to a temporary directory ofyour choice.

2. Please start the „AFS-____-FS9.exe“ and install.

3. Set in ... the main directory from FS2004, when not automatic choice.4. Than start the Flight Simulator.
