City Tour

Sightseeing city tour is a unique opportunity to learn a lot about Sochi during one excursion. With your own eyes you’ll see places of interest of the Resort, take a walk along the quay and stroll through the shadowy alleys of the well-known Riviera Park, visit healing Matsesta Springs. Experi-enced guides will tell you about the history and the present day of the resort city.

The route starts with visiting the Greater Akhun Mountain. You will drive along a narrow serpentine of the mountain road to the height of 600 m. above the sea-level.

From the observation decks on the route a gorgeous pano-ramic view opens over Orlynie (Eagles’) Rocks and Agura Gorge. A magnificent panoramic view of the Mountains of the Main Caucasus Range and of the Sea lying at the foot of the Mountains opens to the sightseers from its upper level.

Also during the tour we’ll see Stalin’s Dacha (Stalin’s Sum-mer residence). Stalin’s Villa is a genuine summer home of the former Soviet leader built in 1936. He used to come here quite often, and the atmosphere of the modest interior of the time throws some light on Joseph Stalin’s personality.

Sochi Olympic Park

You’ll visit ice arenas for figure skating, curling, ice-hockey and speed-skating as well as all venues of the Coastal Cluster, the Olympic Torch, the Olympic Village and Fisht Olympic Stadium where the opening and closing ceremonies were held in 2014, and that is going to be converted into the football stadium for hosting the 2018 World Cup.

Amshenskiy DvorAmshenskiy dvor is a unique ethnographic res-taurant-museum. The real Caucasian hospitality, history and wide menu make this place unfor-gettable. The restaurant is located in Krasnaya Polyana and offers traditional Caucasian cuisine.

On the mountain side there are several cable cars, whole trip up to the top of the mountain takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. We advise guests to wear suitable warm clothing, because of the low temperature on the top of the mountain even during the summer and autumn time.
