The volume of consumption of beef in 2012 was … tons, which was …% more, compared to
2011. In 2011 was noted the largest drop in the consumption of beef in recent years - a
decline of …% to … thousand tons. Another decline in recent years was observed in 2009,
when the growth rate was …%, compared to 2008. At the end of 2012, the consumption of
beef almost reached the level in 2010, but the growth is not yet possible to reach the pre-
crisis levels of 2007 - 2008.
According to forecasts, the favorable development of the consuming industries can help

In the forecasted balance between production and consumption are used estimates of the
consumption of beef and projections for increase in production.
