Russia - Moldova - S. Ossetia - Romania - Ukraine Spanning two continents and 14 time zones, these five countries comprise the largest land mass in the world. Being the biggest is not always the best. It is well known that Russia and all of Eastern Europe have a terrible orphan problem. Upon graduating from the orphanage, many orphans are reduced to

life on the streets. This is where Allies in Youth Development steps in and we hope you will join us

on an adventure to show love and care for these children by modeling how to volunteer.

Areas of Influence & Travel

Moscow tours will include Red Square, Kremlin, Arbat Street and other places of interest along with worship at an area church.

Saint Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia.

Voronezh, home of Allies in Youth Development pilot program. Voronezh State University provides our program with volunteers interested in helping orphans.

Omsk, out in Siberia our partners are pioneering an online tutoring program to help orphans.

Krasnodar, Maykop & South Ossetia, on the southern border offers wonderful views of the Caucus Mountains.

Moldova, land between two rivers on the western border of Romania and the eastern border of Ukraine.

Trip InformationMoldova Adventure

February 16 - 23 Travel to the most impoverished country in Eastern Europe to model volunteerism and assist local teams in orphanage visits. Trip fee $3200.

Russia Adventure to Omsk or Voronezh / Sports Camp

Two teams May 18 - 29 Travel from Moscow to Voronezh or Omsk modeling volunteerism as we join our Russian university partners in their work with institutionalized children. Trip fee $3500.

Orphan Village Construction Team & Saint Petersburg June 1 - 13

Join a crew that models voluntarism by participating in new and remodeling projects at the Orion Orphan Village 100 miles south of Moscow. Trip is $3500 and includes 2 days touring Moscow

& Saint Petersburg.M

Moldova Teen Camp June 29 - July 9

Travel to Moldova to meet and assist orphans in Teen Summer Camp. We will be sponsoring several orphans at the camp and will help with all their activities during the week. Trip fee $3200.

Russia Adventure October 12 - 21

Travel from Moscow to the Black Sea and through the Caucasus Mountains modeling volunteerism as we join our church and university partners in their work with institutionalized children in Krasnodar, Maykop, and South Ossetia. Trip fee $3500.

Payment Schedule $100 down payment 120 days prior to departure

1/3 - First payment 105 days prior to departure

1/3 - Second payment 75 days prior to departure

1/3 - Third payment 45 days prior to departure

UTA / AiYD Internship Russ 4393 Summer I or Summer II

or Special Section Earn 3 credit hours from University of Texas at Arlington and travel to Moldova or Russia with Allies in Youth Development. This internship will involve culture, language, and modeling volunteerism as well as a written report on a selected topic pertaining to the trip portion of the class. If you are not a UTA student, check to see if this course will transfer to your university. Register and pay $1050.00 UTA tuition and fees through Admissions / Registrars office. The trip fees are paid to Allies in Youth Development. Financial aid is available for the combined cost.
