Deriving his name from the message and spirit which emerged across the nation during last year’s successful summer of sport and the Lincoln Imp, the famous stone carving found in Lincoln’s historic Cathedral, our mischievous green mascot will be seen dashing to different sporting events up and down the country having fun and helping to inspire young people to take part in sport.

Founded in 1988 and originally operating from home we couldn’t have imagined in our wildest dreams that 25 years later we would be celebrating such a momentous milestone.We’ve had some great times but also many tough times over the years. Remember the foot and mouth epidemic in 2001, the dreaded recession (and more than one!), and yet in this current economic climate in such austere times, we are still expanding - a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our staff.

However there is one member of staff who merits a special mention. Since joining us from school in 1991 as Office Junior, she is not only our longest serving employee but now our new Managing Director and cornerstone of the Company - Faye Yarwood - well done Faye!

Inside you will find many new and innovative products. We have our largest ever range of exclusively designed medals and our trophy and awards collection is our most comprehensive ever - we hope you like what you see.

So as we continue on our journey, thank you to all our customers and to everyone who has supported us over the years (some of whom have been with us since 1988), we wish you all a successful and healthy 2013.

At a glittering awards ceremony in September we were delighted to be announced as the winner of the Business Diversity Award at the Lincolnshire Media Business Awards 2012.

Over the 25 years we have seen 7 Summer Olympic Games, moved premises 3 times and sadly lost many family and friends. But as the next generation emerges to take the reins to inspire a new generation, we are proud that our ‘one-stop-shopping’ policy and 4 key aims of service, advice, choice and value have truly stood the test of time.

And the Winner is...Running Imp!

Founder and CEO Chris Illsley said “We were delighted to have received the award and that our ambitious Diamond Jubilee campaign played a hugely significant part in it.”

We were also shortlisted as finalists in the categories of Large Business of the Year Award and the Overall Business of the Year Award.

Over the past 30 years the hospice has touched the lives of thousands of Lincolnshire families since it became one of the first in the UK to open its doors in 1982. Thanks to the generosity of the community, and the skills of its staff and volunteers, it has stayed at the national forefront of personalised and high quality patient care ever since.

All of our services are free but we need to raise over £3.1 million each year to continue the care and support we provide. All donations received and money raised as a result of Running Imp’s support will help to continue, improve and extend St Barnabas Hospice services.

Delivery ChargesOrders will be sent via courier with smaller items sent via Royal Mail. Carriage charges are calculated by weight. NI, remote Scotland and UK offshore islands including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man will all incur a surcharge. Please see our website for full information.

Breakages and ClaimsClaims must be received in writing within 24 hours of receipt of goods. ALWAYS check the contents of your parcel(s) before signing the delivery note or sign UNCHECKED. We cannot accept responsibility for goods signed ‘in good condition’ if they are later found to be damaged.

How to PayPayment terms are strictly 14 days from invoice date unless stated otherwise. For new accounts, we reserve the right to supply on a Proforma basis. £13,000 Raised for The Prince’s Trust Last Year

Each year we adopt a charity to whom we donate money to from the sale of medals and company fundraising projects.We are pleased to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2013 is St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice who provide the people of Linconshire with high quality specialist palliative care and support.

Our reasons for choosing St Barnabas are two fold.We felt it would be appropriate to support a local charity to celebrate our 25 years and to say a big thank you for the kindness and support they showed to our amazing and inspirational friend Jules King who sadly died in St Barnabas in March of last year. In Jules’ own words: “St Barnabas is a fantastic service and gives such wonderful care to me and my family. My biggest worry was how my family would cope after I am gone, but knowing that the hospice will be there

for them is a massive weight off my shoulders. People need to know what a wonderful charity St Barnabas are and what great work they do”.

Last year from the sale of our medals and company fundraising projects we were delighted to be able to present The Prince’s Trust with a cheque for £13,000. Founded in 1976 by The Prince of Wales, His Royal Highness became dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK and it is hoped that our contribution will make a significant difference to such a worthy cause.

Q. How do I know how many dies I will be charged for?A. You will only be charged a die for each side that has a design.

Q. What if exactly the same design is on both sides of the medal?A. You will still be charged for 2 dies as we would have to make 2 dies to produce your design.

Q. What if my design has ‘cut-outs’?A. You will be charged 2 dies even if the reverse of your medal is plain, as a second die has to be produced to incorporate any cut-outs.

Q. Can I have printed ribbons?A. Yes. We can overprint your ribbons in a single colour or multicolour, please contact us for your specific requirements.

Q. Do you have any other optional extras for medals?A. Yes. We have a variety of optional extras that will further enhance your medals including crystal inserts, extra thick medals and advertising cards.The only limit is your imagination!

Q. Where are the medals manufactured?A. All our bespoke personalised medals are manufactured in our partner factory in China, for the very best quality at effectively wholesale prices.

Q. I have heard that the medals can be produced and delivered in only 6 weeks or even less, is that correct?A. Yes, they can. Once you have ‘signed-off’ the artwork and approved your design it can take only 6 weeks (and sometimes less) to produce and deliver your medals if we use air freight.

Q. Is there a surcharge for the medals to be flown in?A. Yes there is a nominal charge. Depending on the size of medals and quantity, it can be less than 25p per medal. We will give you an exact quotation at the time of ordering if you require this express delivery service.

Q. Can I order bespoke medals without having to pay the express delivery air freight charge?A. Yes, if you are able to place your order further in advance and use our 12 week sea freight delivery.

Q. Does the 6 or 12 week production lead time include delivery to me?A. Yes.

Q. What if I receive more entries than anticipated, can I order a ‘last minute top-up’ to my medal order?A. Yes. We can produce a ‘top-up’ to your order within a lead time of 3-4 weeks.

Q. In the ‘How to Order’ section on page 73 you ask for designs to be sent in specific formats. If I am unable to do that, what should I do?A. No problem. Simply send us your guidelines with any logos (if any) you want incorporating and we will design the medal for you FREE of Charge! (see FREE design service below).

Q. I understand that you have different background stipple effects that I can incorporate into my design?A. Yes. We have a variety of background stipple effects that can be incorporated into your design (see below). Simply quote the stipple effect number(s) on your mock-up or contact us for a FREE sample.

Q. How long will it take for me to receive artwork back from you for approval?A. Normally within 3 to 4 working days.

Q. When I have received my medal design back for approval, what if I require some changes?A. Again no problem, we will keep amending your design until you are completely happy with it!

Q. Will there be any charge for these amendments?A. Absolutely not.

Q. How do I work out my medal price?A. All prices shown are based on circular 3mm thick medals. For example, if your design is 50mmin diameter look in the 50mm column prices etc.

Q. What if my medals are rectangular?A. If the longest side is at least 20mm more than the shorter side, for example 60mm x 40mm, look under the 60mm prices, and if they are 50mm x 30mm look under the 50mm prices etc.

DIGITALLY PRINTEDNot only do they fit snugly over a standard sized 2.3m long barrier, but also allow the jackets to be digitally printed on both sides in full colour (including photographs if required) with the same or a different design. This effectively doubles the advertising space of a PVC banner of the same size that can only be printed on one side and displayed on one side of a barrier.
