SERVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. OFFICE TIMINGS A. The company works on all days except designated holidays. You are expected to work for 6 days per week and the weekly off-day may not necessarily be Sunday. The work timings for an employee will depend upon his/her job and will be decided by the organization. Each employee is expected to work for at least 8.5 hours per day. B. The employee is required to report to work as per the specified time. A grace period of upto 15 minutes will be allowed. If the employee is late by more than 15 minutes on more than three occasions in a month, s/he will be considered to have availed half day’s leave. If this becomes a frequent occurrence, appropriate action will be taken. 2. LEAVE RULES A. The organization will announce the list of official holidays in a year. Apart from these holidays, 30 days of leave are credited per completed year of service. B. Leave will start accruing from the first day itself. For this purpose, 2.5 days of leave will be calculated for every completed month of service as on date of crediting of leave. C. During the first six months of employment, which is the probation period for most of the employee, employees are not expected to take leave. During this period, leave will be permitted only with special permission under exceptional circumstances. D. The number of days that an employee has been on leave without pay will not be considered as working days for purpose of leave calculation. The leave balance / accrual will thus be calculated accordingly. E. In case an employee takes leave on days both immediately preceding and succeeding a holiday, then the intervening holiday including weekly off if any, will also be treated as leave. F. An employee can accumulate a maximum of 60 days of leave to his/her credit during his/her tenure with the organization. Any leave over and above these 60 days will lapse. G. If the leave application is not approved by the reporting head within three working days, the leave will be automatically granted. H. APPLICATION FOR LEAVE Planned Leave Please note that in case any employee wants to avail of leave, he/she has to apply in the specified format to his/her Department Head, or the person whom he/she is reporting to well in advance. The employee is permitted to proceed on leave only after the leave is granted. Unplanned Leave In case any employee has to take a leave on an emergency basis then he/she is expected to call the office and inform the Department / Reporting Head. Please note that informing other staff members in the office will not substitute the need to inform the Reporting Head. Once the employee gets back to office he/she is supposed to fill in the leave form, get it authorized and submit it to the H.R. Department within 48 hours of availing leave.

3.SALARYThe organization releases salaries through the bank and it is mandatory that every employee should open an account with the bank. Salary are normally credited before the 7th of every month.4.DRESS CODE

All employees have to be formally dressed as per the enclosed annexure on the dress code on all working days to ensure that they make a good impression on young, impressionable students. In case of inappropriate dress code, the employee may be asked to go home and it will be treated as leave without pay.5.SMOKING Smoking is not permitted in any of our office/classroom premises. 6.CONVEYANCE

While on official duty, conveyance expenses will be reimbursed as per the prevailing rules subject to the sanction of the Department / Reporting Head. If conveyance expense statement is not submitted within the stipulated period, reimbursement could be delayed. Contd2Page 2

7. MOBILE PHONE REIMBURSEMENT

Certain category of employees will be reimbursed the expenditure incurred on mobile phone bills upto a certain limit as per the policy of the company subject to the approval / sanction of the Department / Reporting Head. In case, you are entitled for actual reimbursement, please submit itemized bill.8. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR FACULTY MEMBERS

Faculty members are required to keep their cell phones in the ON mode at all times to facilitate scheduling of class in case of emergency.

9.COMPUTER HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

Only authorized, licensed company-provided hardware, software, peripheral and accessories can be used within office premises. Use of personal laptops / computers, is allowed only with prior approval. Computer software (licensed or unlicensed) not belonging to the company, should not be loaded on any computer used on the office premises including personal laptops which may have been permitted for use. Freeware/shareware can be downloaded for use only after written authorization from the Department Head. At no point of time should any illegal data or any pornographic material or sexually explicit material be stored on the hard disk of the computer assigned to you. Centre Heads will be responsible for ensuring that all the desktop at the centre meet these requirements.10.PLACE OF WORK AND TRANSFER

You will be asked to report at any of our office establishments. The company reserves the right to transfer you to any of our other office establishments in India including to any of our franchise offices. The organization can at any time assign a new task to you during the course of your employment at any of its offices (including franchise offices) in the country if it feels that your background or qualifications are suited for the job.

11.DUTIES AND CONDUCT

Your conduct at all times will be appropriate and dignified. In case of any breach of the same or non- performance of the terms and conditions of the appointment letter, your services could be terminated without any prior notice.

12.CONFIDENTIALITY

A. During the course of your employment you will come across confidential information pertaining to this organization. At no point of time, while in employment or afterwards, should this information be revealed to people outside the organization without express written permission of the director.

B. The terms of this offer are strictly confidential between you and the company.

C. The company expects you to fully respect the Intellectual property rights relating to the various materials, formats and structures and any violation of the same will be treated as misconduct.

13.NON-COMPETE

Note that during the probationary period and thereafter you will be put through

A. Special training delivered by experts / senior employees.

B. Induction programme where you will be imparted specialist skills like learning methodologies, training skills, knowledge transfer techniques, subject knowledge of certain subjects etc.

C. You will also be exposed to companys confidential information, trade secrets and necessary intellectual property.

In view of the above you should not, for a period of one year after the date of cessation of your employment for, whatever be the reason, join any organization which is in direct or indirect competition with us.

Page 314.OTHER EMPLOYMENT

Please note that during the course of employment with us you should not take up any other part-time or full time employment (paid or unpaid) without prior permission of the director.15. RETIREMENT

The retirement age is 60 years.

16.MISCELLANEOUS

A. Employees cannot pursue any part-time or full-time course except with prior permission from the director.B. Guests/visitors are not allowed to be brought to your work area.

C. Office facilities/stationery should be used prudently for official purposes only.

D. Approved expenses incurred on official work will be reimbursed only on production of the original bills.

17.RESIGNATION/TERMINATION

Notice period for the termination of employment will be as per the terms of your employment. The requirement of giving the notice by the employee may be waived by the company management at its sole discretion. Further, you will not be entitled to avail of any leave during the notice period.In case, an employee leaves without serving the notice period, appropriate legal action will be initiated to recover notice period pay & other applicable expenses / damages.18. SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNTS

On resignation / termination, your accounts will be settled within 30 days of your getting no dues certificate from the relevant persons / agencies / departments.

Dress Code

This policy elaborates the dress code mentioned in the paragraph 4 of rules & regulations of the employment. It defines formal dressing and gives examples of inappropriate attire.

We believe that all full-time and part-time employees should be dressed appropriately so as to project an image of professional environment and create a good impression on impressionable students and their parents Clothing and shoes, while needing to be comfortable for the job, should not be the type chosen for leisure activities and should be neat and clean.

Inappropriate & Unacceptable Attire

Examples of unacceptable attire may include

Cut-offs Low waist trousers that expose some unmentionables when you bend forward (even while sitting in the chair )

Tank tops, tube tops, halter tops with spaghetti straps

Any top that exposes midriff while raising arms

Off-the-shoulder tops

Workout clothes or shoes

Evening wear

Chappals / Sandals Cargos

Kurta (for males)Centre / department heads are responsible for its implementation. The policy will be administered according to the following action steps:

1. If questionable attire is worn in the office, the respective department head will hold a personal, private discussion with the employee to advice and counsel the employee regarding the inappropriateness of the attire.

2. If an obvious policy violation occurs, the department manager will hold a private discussion with the employee and ask the employee to go home and treat the day as leave taken by employee.

3. Repeated policy violations will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
