    AIRLINE TICKETING GUIDELINES

    1. A separate flight coupon is required for eachchange of carrier and for each portion of thejourney where a change of flight, change in RBD,or a stopover is involved.

    2. When using the manually issued ticket, select theform of passenger ticket in accordance with thenumber of flight coupons required.

    3. All tickets issued initially in conjunction with oneanother shall be of the same form code and shallbe completed in numeric sequence.

    4. If the ticket contains more coupons than arerequired, the appropriate spaces in the Good forPassage Section shall be marked VOID.

    5. The issuing office will deliver the ticket to thepassenger or the passengers representative withall the flight coupons intact (except VOID or

    surface coupons).

    6. Always issue a separate passenger ticket for eachpassenger.

    7. Adhere strictly to all Ticketing Time Limitrequirements established by the carrier.

    8. Dates shall be composed of two numerics for dayfollowed by the first three letters of the month.

    9. Country codes used to identify taxing countries shallbe those established by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization.

    10. Currency codes entered on tickets will be the IATAapproved codes.

    11. Flight coupons must be honored only in sequenceas shown on the passenger coupon and such flightcoupon(s) shall not be accepted for the carriage,exchange, or refund, and are not valid unless

    accompanied by the passenger coupon.

    12. The fare paid shall only be applicable when theinternational travel actually commences in the

    country of the point of origin.

    13. A ticket is not valid for transportation unless it isproperly validated.

    14. Proper ticketing avoids passenger inconvenience.

    15. Print clearly.

    16. Documents are not transferable from the passengernamed thereon to any other person.

    17. MCOs should not be issued when a ticket can beissued.

    18. Erasures render the ticket invalid.

    19. NUCs are not a currency.

    20. All ticket entries must be in block capital letters.

    21. Never use ditto marks.

    Basic Fare Calculation Procedures

    1. Establish the type of journey.

    One-way (OW) Round Trip (RT) Circle Trip (CT)

    Example:Manila/Hong Kong/ Bangkok/Singapore/Manila

    Round the World (RTW)Example:

    Manila/Tokyo/San Francisco/New York/London/

    Frankfurt/Athens/Bangkok/Manila Open Jaw (OJ)

    Example:Manila/Hong Kong-Macau/Manila. The Hong Kong-

    Macau section is not part of the ticket.

    MPM EH 8083 (within the Eastern Hemisphere)

    Hong Kong/Bombay/Athens/Frankfurt

    MPM PO 1194 (via the polar route)

    Hong Kong/Anchorage/London/Frankfurt

    MPM AP 1390 (via the Atlantic and Pacific)Hong Kong/San Francisco/NewYork/Paris/

    Frankfurt

    4. If no direct flights exist between pointsof origin and destination, fares mustbe constructed using the mileage

    system.

    6. Check and apply any minimum farerule shown in the General Rules bookof the Passenger Air Tariff

    7. Add the CF of all fare components fora Total (TTL)
