Rules: 1. All exhibits must have been grown/made by the exhibitor 2. Entry fee is 20p/item (30p/item if not pre registered before 11 th July 2013). Children FREE in all classes. 3. All entry forms plus fee to be in by 10 th July 2013 preferably please, to enable us to calculate space required when setting up. 4. Judging will will done by the General Public between 2pm – 3pm. Each member of the Public will be asked to vote for their FAVOURITE in each category. May we please remind you that this is a FUN show. 5. The committee will then correlate the results and a certificate for 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd in each category will be awarded 6. Members of the Public will also be asked to vote for what they think is “Best in Show”. Please note: Entry forms to be available from any member of the Cherry Willingham Gardening Committee and in the 'Cherry Willingham News'. Exhibits to be brought in between 10am – noon on day of show. All exhibits to be included on entry form at a cost of 20p/item, received with name, phone number, age (if a child) and address of exhibitor preferably by 10th July 2013. Each exhibitor will be given a number to be displayed with item. (10p extra per item if no entry form is received prior to 11 th July 2013) Judging to take place between 2- 3pm by the public. Announcement of winners at 4pm. Children's categories : Group Entries: 1. Make your own scarecrow. 2. A seed potato in a bucket eg. a builders bucket with a handle – to be emptied out on day, potatoes weighed, and greatest weight wins. 3. A sunflower in a pot – prizes for: a) tallest, b) most heads and c) prettiest. 4.3x Edible plants/herbs grown together in a recycled container eg wellington boot. Individual Entries: 5. A miniature garden created on a plate. 6. A design for a garden created on the computer. 7. Photograph – a) a photograph of wildlife in your garden, b) a photograph of what you have done to encourage wildlife into your garden eg insect house, or special planting of flowers for butterflies etc. 8. Handicrafts: a) 4 decorated fairy cakes, b) a knitted item, c) a sewn item, d) a painting no bigger than A4 (age group under 6 years, 6 - 10 years and 11 -17years) . Adults' categories : 1. Longest cucumber. 2. 3 large tomatoes - any variety 3. A mixed bunch containing 5 different cullinery herbs in a vase 4. Any variety of fuschia in a pot no bigger than 15”. 5. A vase with mixes flowers. 6. 3 stems of dahlias of your choice. 7. A vase containing one rose. 8. A vase containing one Iris stem. 9. A vase containing one lupin stem. 10. A scarecrow 11. *A traditional Victoria Sandwich. 12. *A jar of home-made chutney. 13. *A plate of 5 biscuits/cookies. 14. *A traditional fruit cake. 15. *A vegetable cake. 16. Photograph: a) a photograph of wildlife in your garden, b) a Lincolnshire sunset, c) your favourite flower in your garden.
