Steak  Corn  Taquitos  in  the  28  count  box    

Sold  in  Canada:    Beef  and  Cheese  Flour  Taquitos    in  the  20  count  box    

 RUIZ   FOOD   PRODUCTS,   INC.   (Dinuba,   CA)   February   19,   2014:     Ruiz   Foods   has  implemented  a  select  product  withdrawal  of  four  El  Monterey®  Beef  Taquitos.    This  withdrawal   is   the  result  of  a   former  beef  supplier   that  sourced  a  small  quantity  of  beef  products  indirectly  from  Rancho  Feeding  Corporation.  

NO  OTHER  EL  MONTEREY®  PRODUCTS  ARE  AFFECTED.  

According  to  the  USDA:    “FSIS  has  received  no  reports  of  illness  due  to  consumption  of  these  products.”  

With   a   strong   commitment   to   food   safety,   Ruiz   Foods   has   contacted   all   affected  retail  customers  and  are  working  with  them  to  remove  the  affected  product(s)  from  the  store  shelf.
