Rubio® Monocoat has been the king of colours on wood since 2005, and after the great success of our RMC Colour trends 2017 in the past year, we are happy to introduce to you our RMC Colour Trends 2018. Based on the colour trends for interior design, we again developed some gorgeous collections; this time split up into two different atmospheres. Each collection is a mix of new trend colours with existing RMC Oil Plus 2C colours.

The Arctic Adventures colour collection was based on the new interior colour trends of 2018. It’s inspired by the fascinating natural Northern scenery with its sublime, warm and soft accents. It is the start of an adventure through the unspoilt plains, ending with rosy winter cheeks in a warm, homey atmosphere.

The Eastern Encounters colour collection was based on the new interior colour trends of 2018. It’s inspired by the mysterious Eastern culture and its remarkable colour richness. Our stylish colour selection is a warm meeting with their unique balance between energy and relaxation.

The RMC Precolor Easy range creates unique colours in combination with our extensive interior oils.

In order to create special contrasts, one can opt for a pre-colouring from the RMC Precolor Easy palette. The available colours can be mixed, and are easy to apply, with consistent results. The combination of these precolours and our Oil, allows unlimited creative and aesthetic possibilities. Available in 14 different colours.

Note that these precolours need to be sealed with our RMC Oil Plus 2C.

RMC FUMEDGREYING EFFECT

RMC Fumed was developed to give a fumed aspect to oak wood (or any other tannic acid-containing types of wood). RMC Fumed reacts on the tannic acid in the wood and not on the sapwood. Unique effects can be obtained with this product. This product does not release any ammonia smell.

RMC Sunprimer HWP (Exterior)Optional pre-treatment for a more intense colour of your vertical exterior wood

With the RMC Hybrid Wood Protector, Rubio® Monocoat offers a decorative and durable treatment for all vertical exterior wood. To further intensify the colouring, we recently added the RMC Sunprimer HWP to the exterior range. RMC Sunprimer HWP is always applied in the same colour as the RMC Hybrid Wood Protector.

Rubio WoodCream (Exterior)Provide an instant aged look for your vertical exterior wood with maximum protection.

Rubio® WoodCream is a water-based cream, which makes wood water repellent after treatment. This results in a long-lasting pearl effect. Due to the cream structure, it is easy to apply, especially on vertical wood. Rubio® WoodCream is available in 7 shades of grey,which gives the wood an aged look. A transparent version is also available, which allows the wood the age naturally, but protects it and makes it water-repellent.

FR-certificate Bfl-S1

The RMC FR Oil System, our flame-retardant oil system, has been tested in accordance with the following standards: EN 13501-1, EN ISO 11925-2 and EN ISO 9239-1. Achieving a Bfl s1 rating is a first. The B-certificate is the highest classification ever achieved by an oil system. The s1 refers to the extent that smoke development is limited. This is something we consistently strived to achieve during the development phase.

Toy standard EN 71-3

This European guideline regulates the migration of certain hazardous heavy meatls like barium, cadmium and mercury etc. in different types of toys. The decision reflects that wood treated with RMC Oil Plus 2C or RMC Hybrid Wood Protector is safe for children. It also means that chopping boards, kitchen worktops, tabletops, etc. that have been treated with RMC Oil Plus 2C are also safe for domestic use.

0% VOC

An independent laboratory (Ecca) has subjected our products to gaschromatography tests to help determine the VOC level in a product. The 0% VOC logo is listed on the certified RMC products which have been awarded this label. This again confirms our philosophy of caring for a good environment, both for the applier as for the end consumer.
