Dear Brethrens in Christ, it's high time to reconsider our Lord's Feast in the prophetic aspect to rebuke our err ofunderstanding. Since, large biblical readers believe that, these feasts are fulfilled and have no role in End Time prophecies, with thy spirit, this short article may enlighten on our move towards the final preparation of salvation and to flee from thewrath of God.
The Seven Feasts of Israel are key waypoints on a roadmap in holy history. They tell the story of the main Covenant eventsbetween God and His Elect people as they occur here on the earth and in time. The story begins back with the people Godcalled in Old Testament times. And it extends right through to the Apocalyptic events John saw in vision and wrote aboutin the Book of Revelation. Indeed the very next feast, the Feast of Trum pets is coming up in some future new moon ofTishri to express its New Covenant fulfillment in holy history. The Feast of Trumpets will almost certainly be the one thatwill usher us into the 70th week of Daniel and the final seven years of this present age. At the end of those seven yearsthe final Day of Atonement will come into its ultimate fulfillment as well. This will be the very last day of this age.
The first four of the Seven Feasts of Israel have already been fulfilled. They were fulfilled in spectacular fashion. Theywere fulfilled right on the auspicious Hebrew calendar dates on which they have been celebrated in times past, the samedates that will be celebrated forever more. The three spring feasts would be fulfilled by Jesus our Saviour in near future. As we can see, there are three big events left to be fulfilled. God's future epic agenda will unfold right on God's calendar.
So will the Hebrew calendar dates of those Fall Feasts deliver up earthshaking future events? It would be foolish of us tobelieve otherwise. Look at the first four feasts. Weren't the first four feasts fulfilled in spectacular fashion? And did we notsee epic events unfolding right on those very auspicious dates on the Hebrew calendar?

The Word of God revolves around the Feasts. They were holy assemblies forholy rehearsals.
The Feasts forecasted His sacrifice for us. Also, theyforetell the full redemption of His people and the alignment of all nations, which are His inheritance.
When we participate in the waving of the First fruits at Passover time and
then receiving the anointing to gather and increase at Pentecost (Feast ofWeeks), our faith is displayed and our confidence arises for our provision tobe released. By participating and remembering the Feast times NOW, theycease to be shadows of things to come.

The Holy Scriptures reveal that God has ato save mankind. The plan revolves around the
prophetic mission and work of Jesus Christ. For Goddid not send His Son into the world to condemn theworld, but that (John 3:17, emphasis added throughout).

sequence of events
Fes t i v a l s o f H o p e:
Throughout this we emphasizeGod's intention to savethrough Jesus Christthe vastmajority of mankind from the penalty of eternaldestruction we all have earned by sinning. When Godcompletes His majestic plan, He will have given all ofmankind the opportunity to come to repentance. Butbringing all people to repentance, by persuading them toturn from their sinful ways so that they can receiveeternal life, is an awesome task. Todaywith most ofhumanity still under the sway of the great deceiver,Satan the devilrelatively few are even called torepentance. Still fewer are actually repenting.
God reveals His splendid plan in the prophecies andteachings of the Scriptures. God has provided us withthe keys to unlock His plan through His sacred festivals. The festivals are keys to a correct understanding ofGod's master plan and to Christ's central role in that plan.
God instituted and commanded the observance of thesesacred festivals to make known to His people the correct
in His blueprint for humanity'ssalvation. They reveal the frameworkthat organizes the
major events of God's plan in a logical order. They alsoreveal the structure on which biblical prophecy is based. They disclose God's grand design for man's awesomefuture.
When God freed the Israelites from Egyptian bondage,He revealed to them, in addition to the weekly Sabbath,His seven annual festivals. The apostle Paul tells usthese observances are a shadow of things to come(Colossians 2:16-17)that is, theyforeshadowandreveal the basics of His plan of salvation.
illustration of the sower and the seed (Matthew 13:3).
Jesus compared the work God began through Him to aharvest. Christ told His disciples: My food is to do thewill of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. Doyou not say, 'There are still four months and thencomes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up youreyes and look at the fields, for they are
And he who reaps receives wages, andgathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows andhe who reaps may rejoice together (John 4:34-36).
God planned from the beginning to both create andsave mankind through Christ. Describing Jesus' role,Paul explains: He is the image of the invisible God,the firstborn over all creation. Forby
that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions orprincipalities or powers. All things were created
.And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of thebody, the church, who is the beginning, the firstbornfrom the dead,
(Colossians 1:15-18).
Christ's role in humanity's salvation is crucial. His roleis also the central theme of God's sacred festivals, which reveal the sequence of events in His plan. Thefestivals all occur during harvest seasons in the HolyLand, where Jesus grew up and lived His human life.
:(1) the Passover, (2) the Feast of Unleavened Bread,(3) the Feast of First fruits (Pentecost), (4) The feast ofweeks (5)The Feast of Trumpets, (6) the Day ofAtonement, (7) the Feast of Tabernacles. Each focuseson a specific aspect of God's plan.
God originally gave them as festivalsand foran appropriate reason. The writers of the Bible oftencompare the of human lives to theagricultural harvests that sustain life. Therefore we find harvest analogies and parables torepresent aspects of God's plan to bring humanity torepentance. God's goal is to harvest human beingsyou and meinto His Kingdom. One of Christ's best-known parables that illustrates this is the famous

T he N ame of Jesus
May / June 2010Do you receive whatever you ask of God in prayer?
You can. Many believers don't know that, but it's true. Jesus Himself said so. He didn't say it just once, either. He said it again and again.
In He said, Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified inthe Son.
In He said, I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruitshould remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it you.In He said, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it y ou.
Those are startlingly clear statements. They leave no room for the traditional religious idea that sometimes God saysyes toour prayers, and sometimes He says no. Jesus didn't mention anything about God saying no to our prayers. He simply said,Whatever you ask the Father in My Name He will give you.
One Might question, Brother, Jesus was talking to the 12 disciples when He said that. They were a unique group. What Hesaid to them about prayer doesn't apply to all of us.
Yes, it does. We know it does because the Apostle John repeated that very same promise to all believers in . Hewrote: Whatsoever w e ask, we receive of [God], because we keephis commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in hissight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe onthe name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as hegave us commandment.
What Com mandments? I can almost hear you thinking. Keep the commandments? How can I ever qualify for answered prayer if I have to keepall the commandments in the Bible first? I'm not even sure Iknow them all! Don't worry. That passage isn't referring to allGod's scriptural instructions. It's not even talking about theTen Commandments. It's talking about the tw ocomm ands listed in verse 23, the comm ands especiallygiven to us as New Testam ent believers:1) Believe on the Name o f God's Son, Jesus Chr ist; and2) Love one another.
Many times we focus only on the second comm and . Weassume because we're Consecrated, we've already done all weneed to do about believing on the Name of Jesus. But actually, developing our faith in Jesus' Name is something we must docontinually. It's our first and foremost responsibility. Why? Because believing on Jesus' Name is wha t unites us withHis power , moment by moment and day by day. It's what enables us to keep the command of love. It's what empowers us todo everything God asks us to do.Dear Bro thers & Sisters in Christ, this is the golden key that opens the door to answered pra yer.
Wh at's in a Name? If you want to see an example of what faith in Jesus' Name can do, look at the crippled beggar in He had been bornlame. He'd never walked a day in his life. He had to be carried to the temple gate so he could beg for money. Naturallyspeaking, his situation was impossible, incurable and totally hopeless. But when the Apostle Peter said to him, In the nameof Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk, the power of God shot through that man's bones and instantly made him whole.Of course, the people who saw it happen tried to give Peter the credit just like people do today. They thought he had somespecial healing powers because he was an apostle. But Peter set them straight. He said, , Why look ye so earnestlyon us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and ofJacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus. And his name through faith in his name hath made this manstrong.

Some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a rollof gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated whenthe child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.
Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morningand said, This is for you, Daddy. He was embarrassed by his earlieroverreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty.
He yelled at her, Don't you know that when you give someone a present, there's supposed to be something inside it?
The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said,Oh, Daddy, it is not empty. I blew kisses into the box. All for you, Daddy.
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he beggedfor her forgiveness. It is told that the man kept that gold box by his bed for
years and whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginarykiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.
In a very real sense, each of us as humans have been given a gold containerfilled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, friends, familyand God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.
An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, wasin prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation:
Dear Son,I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant mypotato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden because yourmother always loved planting time. I'm just getting too old to be digging upa garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know youwould dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison.Love,Dad
Shortly, the old man received this telegram: 'For Heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up the garden!! That's where I buried the GUNS!!'
At 4 a.m. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up theentire garden without finding any guns.
Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what had happened, and asked him what to do next.
His son's reply was: 'Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad.It's the best I could do for you, from here.'

My words were harsh & hastyAnd they came without a thought.
Then I saw the pain & anguishThat my bitter words had brought.
Bitter words that I had spokenMade me think back through the past;
Of how many times I'd utteredBiting words whose pain would last.
Then I wondered of the peopleI had hurt by things I'd said;
All the ones I had discouragedWhen I didn't use my head.
Then I thought about my own lifeOf painful words I've heard;
And of the times I'd been discouraged
By a sharp and cruel word.
And now clearly I rememberAll the things I might have done; But, by a word I was discouraged
And they never were begun.
So, help my words be silver boxes,Neatly wrapped up with a bow;
That I give to all so freely,As through each day I gladly go.
Silver boxes full of treasure,
Precious gifts from above; That all the people I encounter
Might have a box of love

Johann Gutenberg invented the printing press in the1450's , and the first book to ever be printed was a Latinanguage Bible, printed in Mainz, Germany.
Gutenberg's Bibles were surprisingly beautiful, aseach leaf Gutenberg printed was later colorfully hand-illuminated. Born as Johann Gensfleisch (John Gooseflesh),he preferred to be known as Johann Gutenberg(John Beautiful Mountain).
Ironically, though he had created what many believe to be themost important invention in history, Gutenberg was a victimof unscrupulous business associates who took control of hisbusiness and left him in poverty. Nevertheless, the inventionof the movable-type printing press meant that Bibles and
books could finally be effectively produced in large quantitiesin a short period of time. This was essential to the success ofthe Reformation.
Between 1450 and 1455, the Gutenberg Bible was completed.Early documentation states that a total of 200 copies werescheduled to be printed on rag cotton linen paper, and 30copies on velum animal skin. It is not known exactly howmany copies were actually printed. Today, only 22 copies areknown to exist, of which 7 are on velum.
If an entire Gutenberg Bible should become available on theworld market, it would likely fetch an estimated 100 million
dollars! Even an individual leaf (a single two-sided page) fromthe original Gutenberg Bible can fetch around $100,000.Gutenberg's work is the rarest and valuable printed materialin the world.
Johann Gutenberg died in Mainz, Germany in 1468. He wasburied in a Franciscan church, which was demolished andreplaced with another church, which was also subsequentlydemolished. While Gutenberg sadly went without reward forproducing the machine that changed the world, historyrecognizes him as holding this honor. Without his invention, the Protestant Reformation would not have been possible.

Tribute toBro. Johann Gutenberg 1398-1468
In his , Eusebius tells of manymartyrs in the Christian church prior to 324 C. E.. On thispage are descriptions of the martyrdom of twenty-two of them. These Christians were put to death by heathen emperors, governors, and judges. What was their crime? It was admittingto being Christian. They did not have proper trials. They were
tortured before being put to death. The one way to avoid theordeal was to denounce one's faith A few took this way out;but most, including those listed in this paper, did not. Theyfrustrated their tormentors by cheerfully submitting to thetorture.
This list briefly describes the horrors that these Christiansfaced. The details are not pleasant to read. However, everypresent-day Christian should read about such atrocities asthese which were inflicted on believers. Then he shouldevaluate his own faith. Would he be willing to die for his faithif he were faced with the same decision? Or would he find iteasier to turn his back on his faith and save his life
temporarily?

They seized this elderlywoman, beat her jaws, andbroke out all her teeth. Theybuilt a fire and threatened toburn her alive unless shewould repeat their impiousexpressions. She appeared toshrink a little, but whenallowed to go, she suddenlysprang into the fire and wasconsumed. (258)
