This 2007 Yamaha R1 is Rolands choice for an everyday streetbike. The Rising Sun, with its two-tone satin finish over a vanilla cream body, with gold leaf number plate are race ready. We really didnt plan on taking this bike as far as we did but we couldnt help it. Originally built as a simple custom, this R1 has a dramatic effect with little effort. Shows you what RSD parts, a little paint, and a lot of creativity can do.

Roland Sands Design is proud to be a partner with the Ride For Kids Foundation in the effort to raise awareness and money for pediatric brain tumor research. Honda donated this 2008 CBR1000RR which Roland pimped out and dubbed The Mission. It is to be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going to the Ride For Kids Foundation. This is the third year in a row RSD has donated a custom bike to this cause. In that time we have helped raise over $200,000 for the children.
