Students  learn  to  communicate  about  their  own  lives    and  how  to  interact  with  Hispanic  cultures.  

 

Time  is  spent  speaking,  reading,  wriBng,  and  translaBng.  

Spanish  is  a  core  course  for  students  in  grades  6  through  8.  

Latin & English

The  primary  purpose  of  studying  LaBn  is  to  help  students  learn  &  fall  in  love  with  the  language  of  the  Church.  

The  Upper  School  English  program  is  integrated  with  

the  study  of  LaBn  which  enriches  the  students’  vocabulary,  grammar  

retenBon,  and  increases  achievement  and  

placement  test  scores.

Students  read  classics  by  Dickens,  Tolkien,  Virgil,  Homer,  as  well  as  other  Great  Books.  

 Students  advance  their  wriBng  

skills  through  outlining  and  summarizing,  research,

Virtue  Campaigns  are  designed  to  help  each  student  develop  good  habits  for  interacBng  in  the  classroom,  with  their  families,  and  with  their  peers.
