Routine List: Sarina del Fuego.

MEDUSA - A favourite signature act created in early 2010 especially for Australian Burlesque Festival. The act asks the eternal questions of the male (and female) gaze: to look or not to look? Medusa was once a beautiful virgin priestess, assaulted by Poseidon in Athenas temple and then banished and cursed by Athena. Sarina wanted to give her back the power she never had and make her in to a temptress potentially able to look upon people without turning them to statues. Nevertheless, watching Sarina del Fuegos Medusa routine is more than worth the risk of being turned to stone. Set to Jasmine by Sonny Lester and Temptress by The Flies. For more images

BLUEBIRD - Created for the 2011 Australian Burlesque Festival. A girl is seduced by a bluebird to shed her gown in a classic striptease and dons feathers to become a blue bird herself. A routine set to jazz and a classical ballet piece. The performance builds to its beautifully revealing finale with a grand feather fan dance. Can be seen at 1:28 For more images' - This routine was created for Noir Revue (a Sarina del Fuego production first performed at Sydney Fringe 2010). It is inspired by Classic Film Noir, where all you need is a girl, cigarette and a gun. There is no gun here but the girl herself is a weapon. Perfect routine for a fetish event or something a little dark. The girl becomes so involved and aroused by her cigarette, layers must come off and the audience is there to help.Noir Revue show reel and also here "... a cheeky, smokey number that had the crowd's gaze as she weaved her way through them puffing and mincing..." ARABIAN NITES - First performed in 2005, Sarinas Arabian Nights routine is a tribute to Rita Hayworths Dance of the Seven Veils in Salome. In an ornate vintage showgirl costume of gold and pink lam, this whirling dervish of a virgin princess will dance her way through the crowd as she loses her seven veils (and perhaps something more). More images - A signature act created for London Burlesque Festival 2009. In a showgirls customary bevel stance, her legs take on the shape of the flute of a Champagne glass. A glittery and fun tribute to showgirls and their favourite drink. Short snippet of Champagne at 1:46 routine in it's early days can be viewed here More images

SCREEN TEASE - take a peek inside a Victorian boudoir and observe the true art of undressing. With its chiaroscuro of light and shadow the audience will get more than just a glimpse of a silhouette. An upbeat, jazzy routine with an optional ending under ultraviolet light.Set to Corner Pocket by Count Basie & His Orchestra More images

GOLD & BLACK - a modern disco routine set to Sam Sparros Black & Gold. Be entranced by the gold twirling this way and that. With metallic gold lam Isis wings, this is one fun and full-of-sparkle routine. More images

STEAMY - Created in 2009 as a steampunk collaboration to showcase Clockwork Butterflys amazing costume. An innocent Neo-Victorian lady with all the trimmings gets a bit flustered, steamy and hot under the collar. So she decides to shed a layer or two or three or four or... fifteen! More images

DECO DANSE - a decadent, pretty piece set to the sound of 1920s Paris. Pearly white with a choice between feather fans or veil fans. More Images

OF THE FIRE - Sarina del Fuego would not be right without a del fuego show. Sarinas fire fan act was created in late 2009 as a disco influenced routine and has grown in to a tribal dance to a remix of Fleetwood Macs Tusk. Available as a solo routine or as a trio with two additional performers. From 0.38 seconds and More Images
