Continuous Glowing LensRound 4 features a fully illuminated continuous lens that extends across the entire length of the luminaire. Made from optical grade acrylic, the sophisticated lens not only softens light output, it hides individual LEDs from sight resulting in a visually pleasing, glowing band of illumination.

Illuminated Corner OptionOn suspended Round 4 I/D, Direct and Indirect models, Round 4 can be configured with a special “L” pattern connector to provide seamless corner illumination where two luminaires join together.

FinishesTwo standard finishes:

 • Painted aluminum • Gloss white

End CapsRound’s end caps are sculptural works of art in their own right. Constructed from die-cast aluminum, these fashionable finishing touches feature an incurvated, conical opening (similar in shape to the inside of a tuba horn) leading to a slightly concave round button in the center.

CurvaCeous and Classy

Many lighting manufacturers make cylindrical fixtures. some even make tubular-shaped

led fixtures. But only Peerless offers a suite of led “luminaires” with the refined details

and carefully considered design elements worthy of being called round.

round is one smart suite of luminaires.

not only does round offer the very best in

color-consistent led technology, round can

be specified with digital controls and sensor

options to boost energy efficiency.

Dimming OptionsSingle-circuit 0-10V dimming (SCT) is standard on all Round luminaires. With Round 4 I/D, however, a dual-circuit dimming and switching option (DCT) allows the indirect and direct portions to be controlled separately. This feature enables end-users to set and later adjust light output levels to meet their specific lighting needs.

Both single-circuit and dual-circuit dimming help save energy and extend the life of the LED modules.

Digital Lumen Management OptionRound can also be specified with a built-in digital lumen management option (available with or without nLight system networking) to deliver constant lumen output, extend the longevity of the LEDs and save roughly 10% in energy use over Round’s lifetime.

nLight digital lumen management intelligently maintains light output at 80% of full-lumen output and prevents energy waste caused by over-lighting.

nLight Network Controls Option For networking with nLight system controls, the majority of Round luminaires can be ordered with an nLight nIO module pre-installed inside the housing and an accessible, topside network port that allows for easy CAT-5e “plug-and-play” connectivity.

For Round 2 Wall-Wash and all Round wall-mounted luminaires, a standalone nIO module can be ordered from Acuity Brands Controls to install above ceilings or inside walls.

Wholly BenefICIal IlluMInatIon

round exemplifies the Peerless mantra of lighting for People®

by providing comfortable illumination that promotes visual

well-being and helps keep eyes thriving.

In the case of round, a proprietary injection molded optic

refracts light to where it’s needed most. the result is indirect

illumination that is flat and broad across the ceiling with no

hot spots and direct illumination that cuts off high-angle glare.

With reflectors and lenses designed to control and diffuse

light following our softshine® optical engineering standards,

round emits soft, uniform and glare-free light that minimizes

eyestrain and fatigue.

softshine® optical engineering is a process

where we actively shape and direct the light

output from our luminaires to provide best-in-class

distribution and visual well-being.

Aisle/Stack Luminaires Uniformly illuminate vertical surfaces on both sides of 3’-7’ aisles with Round 4 Aisle/Stack I/D and Round 4 Aisle/Stack Direct. These luminaires have specially designed optics that direct light in an inverted “V” pattern exactly where its needed evenly up and down library stacks, grocery shelves and other displays.

As a result of this unique optic, specifiers should note a linear shadowing affect appears down the center of the lens as shown.
