Rough Cut Feedback

For our first rough cut we had limited base tracks which means we did not have a complete base track of the artist singing the whole song. we needed more base tracks of the artist which is Karen, singing the whole song from beginning to end. We will fix this by using the next weeks of lessons to get lots of base tracks so we have a variety to use.

Another feedback was that we had to change some shots because the first time Karen filmed her base track she wasn't as confident as she is now with the camera, for example she wasn't interacting with the camera and wasn't moving around she was very stationary. Karen will now use more movement and be confident.

Also being careful with editing the beat and marking them on time with everything so words don't get cut off. We need to make sure the clips and music are in sync and everything is strictly on beat with no mistakes.

One of the shots we need to do is the close of the artists eyes when the lyrics says "Look Into my Eyes" but this time do the shot from a slanted angle to the close up looks better and not pixel edited. We will re shoot this shot so it is of better quality.

The establishing shots of London we would need to cut it down shorter and slow the filming down so we have more time to see the whole of London rather than having it quick and not being able to see much. We will slow this down on our next editing session so it is easier for audience to see what is going on.
