FADE IN.

EXT. FOREST. NIGHT

JERRY

JERRYWhere are we ?

SHANE I haven't got a clue

The music lurking within the back ground is there to help build the suspense with the diegetic sound.

SHANE What was that?

JERRY Nothing calm down, you have being smoking too much.

SHANE No I heard something

JERRY No you’re paranoid.

Loud bang comes into the room and the two boys dramatically fall on the fall. Jerry falls to the floor seconds after the bang.

SHANE

Jerry what’s happened????Jerry, Jerry answer me please!

Shane starts to cry with the realisation his friend is dead. He turns around to find a dark figure standing within the distance.

SHANE who are you?

The figure stands still and continues to stare at the boy.

Shane, stands up as starts walking towards the figure

figure turns and runs off as the boy gets closer.

fades out to a black screen.

Graphic - 3 weeks after

INT. BOYS BEDROOM. MORNING

Boy lies in bed awake has he stares at the wall in front of him until the sound of his alarm goes off.

The door knocks and the boys father enters the room.

FATHER you need to get up you've got counselling soon

SHANEI'm not going its not working its a load of shit.

The father stares at shane with a puzzled look on his face as his sons personality has changed.

INT. STREET OUTSIDE. DAY

Boy starts walking down the street. This will turn into a tracking shot where we see the boy zoned out as everything around him is happening. As he starts to cross the road a car comes round the corner and slams the brakes as he avoids the child.

STRANGER You need to watch where you are going mate!

The boy continues to stare at the driver and doesn't have any expression on his face. The driver shakes his head in disgust and drives off.

Shane starts to look around as people seem to be staring at him he goes into a state of shock and starts to panic as he feels like everyone is pointing and laughing at him.

FADES OUT

INT. SUPPORT ROOM. DAY

A shady room where the boy is sitting on the chair looking zoned out like the street scene before. His hair looking un even as he slowly runs his hands through it.

The support worker looking puzzled as the boy stares right through her and sees the vacant person sitting in front of her.

SUPPORT WORK Are you still having the dreams?

silence as the child doesn't respond to what the support worker is saying to him.

SUPPORT WORKER

Shane you need to talk to me to make yourself better.

SHANE

What’s the point

SUPPORT WORKER

Because if we talk about what happened that night then you be able to move on.

SHANE He will still be dead so why bother wasting both of our time.

SUPPORT WORKERNo but its not about him its about you getting over it.

The room remains silent. The atmosphere remains thick and the awkward silence rises.

SHANE I Miss him

SUPPORT WORKERI know you do, this is why we need to talk to me about it. This will slowly heal you and you will be able to continue with your life

SHANE But I can’t

SUPPORT WORK Why?, just tell me!

SHANE I just can’t

SUPPORT WORKER Why can’t you tell me, You’re meant to talk to me.

The two look at each other while tears start to roll down shane face. The support worker goes to say something but stops her self.

SUPPORT WORKER Did you see something that night?

Silence as Shane doesn't respond to her and continues to stare at the wall

SUPPORT WORKER You need to tell me because it might help find the person who killed jerry.

SHANE I cant it wont help at all, it will cause more issues.

SUPPORT WORK It will be important for you to share this with me so I can decide what treatment you need.

SHANE I saw the person who killed jerry!

Horror of shock on the support workers face when she hears this come from shane.

SUPPORT WORKER Do you reconsign the person who did it

Shane looks at the support worker and goes to respond. The door opens quickly and Shane dad bursts through the door.

SHANE’S FATHER Sorry I thought something had happened because the session was meant to finish 10 minutes ago.

SUPPORT WORKER Sorry sir, can you just give us a minute we are just finishing up.

SHANE’S FATHER Yeah okay will be out side in the car.

SHANE No I’ll come now we are finished anyway I'm starving

SUPPORT WORKER I think it would benefit you if we were to finish this session by going over what we were saying.

SHANENa its alright, it was nothing anyway.

SUPPORT WORKER Shane I don't think it will help you if we don't finish.

Shane and his father begin to leave the support centre and walk towards the car.

EXT. INTO THE STREET

SHANE’S FATHER How did it go?

SHANE Why would you care?

SHANE’S FATHER Because I'm your dad, and you have been through a lot recently.

SHANE Can we just go home please.

FADE OUT

INT. SHANE’S ROOM. AFTERNOON

Shane’s dad shouts up stairs.

SHANE’S FATHER I'm just going to the shop for some fags and crisps. do you want anything?

SHANE Na I don't want anything.

As the Front door slammed a strange noise came from his fathers room. Shane moves down stairs to inspect the sound. As he moves around the hall way he notices a panel on the wall had come loose next to his fathers room. He moves closer to the panel and has he move the panel back into place he notices a strange light behind it. He moves the panel and notices a strange stair case. he moves towards the stair case and notices photos on the wall. He takes a closer look and notices the photos are off Jerry.
