 We  will  pick  you  up  at  the  hotel  and  transfer  you  in  a  deluxe  air  conditioned  bus  to  take  you  to  the  Chagres  River.    Once  there  you  will  board   and   have   a   peaceful   ride   in   a   dugout   canoe.   Driving   by   a   local   indigenous   man.     After   that   we   will   arrive   to     the   Emberá  Community,  which  members  are  known  as  “Keepers  of  the  Rainforest”.    They  will  be  prepare  and  so  happy  to  welcome  the  visitors  with  their  own  music  with    drums  and  then  let  you  walk  around  their  village  and  give  to  you  a  short  speech  with  their  history.    A  very  local  light   lunch  will  be  served,  based  on  the  catch  of   the  day   fish,  green  plantain  and   fruits.    We  recommend  you  bring  cash,  so  you  can  purchase  their  economic  and  nice  art  craft.    After  lunch  you  will  enjoy  a  short  show  about  their  dancing  and  then  you  will  be  taken  back  to  the  canoe  for  your  return  to  the  bus  and  then  to  your  hotel    Includes:  Air  conditioned  ground  transportation,  Transport  by  dugout  canoe,  Park  entrance,  Light   lunch,  One  Bottled  water,  Bilingual  guide    What  to  bring:  Comfortable  clothes  and  shoes,  hat,  sun  block,  sunglasses,  camera  and  money  for  Souvenirs  (  Bring  small  bills  of  $1,oo,  $5.00,  and  $10.00s  )    No  credit  card  accepted      Restriction:    Weight  limit  300  pounds.        Driving  distance:  50  minutes    by  bus  to  Chagres  River    to  board  the  Canoe  and  then  about  20  minutes  to  get  to  the  village

This   tour  will   take   you   to   visit   various   sites   in   Panama  City,     you  will   be   driven   to   the   new   city  with   its  magnificen  buildings   at   the  Banking  area  and  also  pass  by  the  famous  Uruguay  street  where  many  restaurants  and  bars  are  located.    After  that  we  will  take  you  to  the   Old   City   (called   Casco   Viejo   or   Casco   Antiguo   )   where   are   located   the     colonial   churches,   monuments,   museums   and   modern  buildings.      You  will  have  half  hour  to  walk  on  your  own  or  do  some  shopping  at  the  Old  City.      Includes:  Air  conditioned  ground  transportation,  One  Bottled  water,  Bilingual  guide    What  to  bring:  Comfortable  clothes  and  shoes,  hat,  sun  block,  sunglasses,  camera  and  money  for  Souvenirs  (No  $100  or  $50  dollars  bills  are  accepted)    Most  credit  cards  but  American  Express.    Restriction:    None    Driving  distance:  20  minutes  to  Miraflores  –  25  to  30  minutes  from  Casco  Antiguo  to  hotel    

Biodiversity Museum and Artisan Market

We will pick you up at the lobby of the hotel and on the way to Causeway, you will be able to enjoy seeing the brand new “Cinta Costera” in Balboa Boulvevar and some relevant momuments for our country as well as the Old City at the distance.

Once that you get to the Museum our guide will accompany you through the different areas of the Museum and also inside there will be the Museum guides that will offered the proper information of the different sections.

After the visit to the Museum we will drive you to the Causeway, a leisure paradise with stores, restaurants and bars that offer spectacular views of the modern city and its skyline. Across the bay you will find a contrast in the oldest sector of the city, you will also see the Pacific Ocean side of the entrance of the Panama Canal. We will stop at the artisan’s craft Market in Causeway, so you can also see or purchase our traditional art craft.

The museum is a masterpiece of shapes topped by an explosion of color. The colors skillfully chosen to represent flora and fauna elements of the rain forest. The designers hurtled difficulties such as longevity of the color in the tropical sun which is intensified because the building is located on a causeway and will receive sunlight reflected by the water on both sides of the structure. The need for a long term paint guarantee is imperative. The museum will include 2 large salt water aquariums which will be built with Japanese custom built plexiglass fronts which have arrived and will be installed soon.

The foundation of the museum is education; for Panamanians and visitors. The displays will be designed so that people with all levels of education can appreciate their messages. Themes will include creation of the world as we know it, the continents, the ice ages, the movement of humans and animals, how the ecosystems intertwine, conservation of our planet and more. Behind the scenes as well, education will be an important and lasting factor. The effects of the museum construction will be felt for years because of the training and improved skills of the Panamanian workers. Aerial Tram Tour: We will transfer you to the beautiful Gamboa Resort, where you will be able to experience the beautiful rain forest. Once that our arrive you will ride in a góndola that will allow you to have a thrilling and spectacular 360° view above the rainforest canopy as your aerial tram ascends 280 feet over half a mile. Our experiences guides will let you know all about our Panama Rain Forest and if Nature is in your side you will see birds, butterflies and a great variety of plants and tres. Your tram completes its journey at the top of a hill and a short walk will lead you to the observation tower where you have a great view of the canal, the Chagres River, Soberania National Park and Gamboa's Town. Gatun Lake Tour: We will drive to the beautiful Gamboa Resort and take you directly to the pier, where you will board a small boat for an exhilarating speed-ride directly through the Panama Canal alongside giant vessels in transit. After 20 minutes we slow down to enter the quiet world of wildlife that inhabits the shoreline of Gatun Lake. As you approach the forested banks of Gatun Lake, you'll have an opportunity to look for wildlife such as Capuchin Monkeys, 3-toed Sloth, Howler Monkeys and various species of Toucans and other birdlife. Trained naturalist guides accompany you to make this journey come alive with interesting information and a true sense of what life was like before settlers came in the 1500’s. Cancellations  policies  

 Contracting:  To  guarantee  you  the  quoted  prices,  please  send  your  group's  schedule  of  activities  or  Purchase  Order  (P.O.),  authorizing      IVI  as  your  Official  Ground  Operator.  Please  send  $2,000.00  as  goodwill  initial  refundable  deposit  within  the  next  30  days.      Deposits:  To  assure  contracted  services  with  our  suppliers,  we  require  a  30%  initial  deposit  by  company  check  or  wire  transfer,  90  days  prior  to  group  arrival.    Then,  we  require  a  60%,  60  days  prior  to  group  arrival.  The  remaining  balance  must  be  canceled  with  30  days  prior  to  arrival.  Final  arrival  and  departure  manifests  specifying  names,  flight  arrangements  and  transfer  types  for  each  guest  must  accompany  remaining  balance  due.    Payments:    We  receive  Wire  Transfers.    Any   additional   charges   for   to   contract   requested   after   that   the   Final   Payment   has   been   done,   must   be   paid   (Certified  Check)  upon  group’s  arrival  at  pre-­‐con  meeting.    Extra  charges  upon  group’s  departure  during  billing  meeting.  Payments  must  be  made  in  USD.  The  payments  must  always  indicate:  Company's  name,  group's  name  and  group's  dates.    Credit  card  payments  are  allowed  only  for  charges  of  $1,000.00  or  less.    Cancellations:  Penalties  are  assessed  in  accordance  with  each  of  our  supplier's  policies,  with  a  30-­‐day  to  48-­‐hour  written  cancellation  notification  being  the  norm.        IVI  is  only  an  intermediary  between  the  various  optional  tour  excursions,  site  trips,  water  sports,  etc.,  and  shall  not  be  liable  for  any  injury,  damage,  loss,  expense,  accident,  delay,  inconvenience  or  irregularity  arising  out  of  or  relating  to  said      IVI  ties.
