CLUB SERVICECOMMUNITY PROGRAM GIFT GIVING AT THE

INOCENCIO MAGTOTO FOUNDATIONDECEMBER 11, 2010 AT SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA

The Rotary Club of Makati Buendia held its annual Christmas gift giving to the disabled children under the care of the Inocencio Magtoto Memorial Foundation held on December 11, 2010 at the Covered Court, Pampanga High School Grounds, San Fernando, Pampanga.

The program started around 9:00am wherein about 150 Children Beneficiaries were treated to songs and dances performed by the disabled children from different areas covered by the Foundation. Gift giving and lunch followed afterwards. The program ended around 12:00 noon.

CLUB ADMINISTRATIONFELLOWSHIP CLUB 2010 CHRISTMAS PARTY

DECEMBER 16, 2010

The Rotary Club of Makati Buendia had its 2010 Christmas Party at the roof deck of PE Burt’s office in Makati City on December 16, 2010 in lieu of the regular weekly meeting. The Club’s Christmas party started at around 7:30pm and was attended by 35 members, notably, CP Bernie, PP Jun, PP Rey, PP Uly, PP Tony, PE Burt and PN Eddie.

There were fun and games hosted by PP Rey and Rtn Domeng and spiced up by the sexy dance number of the Lady Rotarians of the Club. An exchange of gifts followed and the party ended in the wee hours of December 17, 2010. It was agreed upon that the next regular weekly meeting would be on January 6, 2010.

CLUB SERVICECOMMUNITY PROJECT – GIFT GIVING AND CHRISTMAS PARTY

FOR THE INDIGENT KIDS, FAMILIES AND SENIOR CITIZENSOF DONGALO, PARANAQUE CITY DECEMBER 18, 2010

The Rotary Club of Makati Buendia together with the NGO Barangay Always conducted the latter’s 16th Annual Gift Giving and Christmas Party for the Indigent Children and Families from Barangay Dongalo, Paranaque City on December 18, 2010.

The beneficiaries for this year’s Annual Gift Giving and Christmas party were the 400 children, 150 indigent families and the Senior Citizens that are supported by the President Manny David who are residents at the riverside and coastal areas of Barangay Dongalo.

The occasion started at 1:00PM with games, dance contest and gift giving for the kids and the selected indigent families. Foods were served for all that were present during the occasion. The occasion ended at around 9:00PM capped by the usual film showing for kids.

TURNOVER OF COMPUTER AND CLASSROOM DESKTO THE DON GALO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

DECEMBER 18, 2010

The Rotary Club of Makati Buendia in partnership with Pal Maritime Corporation and in pursuit of its Literacy Program donated one (1) Computer and 10 classroom desks to the Don Galo Elementary School on December 18, 2010.

The Club was represented during the turnover by President Manny David, Lady Riza and Rotarian Mark David with Mr. Boy Bayot, President of Pal Maritime Corporation and the Don Galo Elementary School by Teachers Ms. Lori Miranda and Mrs. Lorna Belarmino who represented Mr. Recto C. Makinika the School Principal of Don Galo Elementary School.

The Club through President Manny David have pledged to continue to assist the School in its thrust to develop good and qualified student

CLUB COMMUNITY SERVICEClean Water Project for CFC European Village

A Matching Grant Project – Update

This an update of the MG of the Rotary Club of Makati Buendia for clean water and Sanitation at the CFC/Ankop European Village in Paranaque City.

The Project Director and the Couples for Christ SB3 Cluster Head turned over the Maynilad water connections for 46 units/homes and the eleven (11) Septic Tanks on December 19, 2010. The Maynilad water connections for the remaining 72 units would be fast tracked and to be completed before mid-year subject to the completions of the remaining housing units.

Turnover ceremonies were attended by Bro. Alex Bautista the Project Director and Bro Ricky Chuaunsu of the Couples for Christ SB3 Cluster Head.

The Program started with the Inspirational Message by President Manny David followed with the Pasasalamat by the Awardees represented by Bro. Bernard Loseco and the Ceremonial Switch On of the Maynilad water connections.

CLUB SERVICECOMMUNITY PROJECT CRISTMAS PARTY AND GIFT GIVINGAT CFC-ANGKOP PARAISSO VILLAGE DECEMBER 19, 2010

The rotary club of Makati Buendia together with the Pal Maritime Corporation conducted a Christmas Party and Gift Giving to the children and families of the Club’s adopted community Angkop Paraisso village at Mataas na Kahoy, Lipa City held at their Community Center on December 19, 2010.

The above activity started ar around 10:00 am with games and presentations of the kids of the said community. The beneficiaries of the above Club activity were the 17 families and 38 children of the said adopted community wherein gift bags containing various canned goods were handed out to the 17 families and a Party with the Jollibee Mascot were held for the Kids.

The members of the Club namely, President Manny, Lady Riza, PE Burt Sabay, Rtn Mark David, Nel Espanola, Nei Eco, Lyn Bacani, Malou Deris, Randolf Calderon ,Edward Nillos and Club Asst. Secretary Raquel Villegas were present during the said Club Activity which included the Jeff, Mariel and Matthew David who are the immediate Family of the President Manny and the staff of Pal Maritime Corporation. The activity was concluded at around 2:00pm with the group singing of the Christmas carols.

CLUB SERVICECOMMUNITY AND INTERNATIONAL SERVICE

SIGNING OF THE SISTER CLUB AGREEMENT AND TURNOVER OF DONATED MEDICINESDecember 19, 2010

The Rotary Club of Makati Buendia represented by President Manny David signed a Sister Club Agreement with the Rotary Club of Metro Tanauan represented by its Global President Doris Go Kwok and witnessed by PE Burt Sabay and PP Tony Ilagan from the RC of Makati Buendia and PP Evelina Espiritu Club Secretary RC Metro Tanauan and the RI3820 District Governor Ato Dimayuga on December 19, 2010 at the Tanauan, Batangas.

The signing of the Sister Club Agreement coincided with the turnover of the various donated Medicines worth about Php500,000.00 for the adopted communities of the Rotary Club of Metro Tanauan.

The Sister Club Agreement between RC Makati Buendia and RC Metro Tanauan was arranged by PP Tony Ilagan.
