Signature ProjectEnd Polio Now
Goals: To spread information about what polio is and why it must be eradicated. To continue raising awareness about the efforts to eradicate polio in Pakistan and Afghanistan. To highlight requirements to eradicate the disease (importance of vaccination). To use social media as a platform to spread information about polio To share information about the past events and fundraising that the Rotaract Club of Mount Hope has done to contribute to the End Polio Fund in 2014-2015. To encourage members of the Faculty of Medical Sciences to contribute and get interactive with the End Polio Now Fund.Beneficiaries: Countries affected by Polio; Pakistan and Afghanistan Students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences Members of the Rotaract Club of Mount Hope Social media usersDeliverables:Plan Date

Ready for Change: A War Against HIV/AIDS Transmission
Goals: To give an online gift of a red ribbon of awareness for HIV/AIDs on World AIDs Day (Dec 1st 2015). To use social media; Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to inform users about new advancements in treating the disease on an international level. To utilize hashtags; #PMTCT #Readyforchange #Stopmtct to raise awareness about efforts to eradicate the transmission of HIV especially from mother to child. To research and share information on HIV transmission via mother to child transmission (MTCT). To share visual information in the form of Youtube videos to raise an interest on the topic. To identify the 10 top priority countries that are considered by WHO.Beneficiaries: Potential victims to MTCT Students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and their friends and families. Members of the Rotaract club of Mount Hope would be challenged (service driven) to post an article about new advancements in treating AIDs/HIV on social media. Hashtags #readyforchange #stopmtct and #PMTCT would be used.Nov 30th 2015

Prepare powerpoint to highlight countries that are most affect by the disease with reference to WHO on the Rotaract club of Mount Hope website with links to sites where people could learn more information.

Goals: To illustrate the experiences of persons living with autism in other countries using international examples. To decrease the stigma against persons with autism.
