Report of Charter Presentation and Installation Ceremony of President and Office Bearers

held on Saturday the 9th February 2019.

The Charter presentation ad Installation of President and Office Bearers of Rotaract Club of

Atria Institute of Technology was held on Saturday the 9th February 2019 between 9:30 am and

11:30 am at main Seminar Hall, Atria Institute of Technology campus, Anandnagar, Bengaluru.

The program started with a fellowship from 9:30 am to 10:00 am.

The Charter presentation and installation ceremony started at 10:00 am wherein Parent Rotary

Immediate Past President Rtn. Balaraj, District Governor Rtn. Suresh Hari, Principal of Atria

Institute of Technology Dr. Narayanaswamy K V, District Rotaract Committee Chairman Rtn.

Ravi Shankar GRS, Parent Rotary Youth Service Director Rtn. Jayachandra Aradhya M S,

District Director Rtr. Tarun, Faculty Co-Ordinator Dr. Srivatsa S K, Incoming Charter President

Rtr. Padmesh K Vijay and Incoming Charter Secretary Rtr. Surya M were escorted to Diaz.

The event started with the invocation rendered by Ms. Haritha for seeking the blessings of the

almighty. Faculty Co-Ordinator Dr. Srivatsa S K welcomed the gathering. While welcoming

students and faculty he urged all students to take part in activities of the Rotaract Club and

mentioned the immense benefits accrued by it.

Parent Rotary Youth Service Director Rtn. Jayachandra Aradhya M S gave a glimpse of Rotaract

Club of Atria Institute of Technology which was followed by the handing over of Charter

Certificate to Principal of Atria I. T. Dr. Narayanaswamy K V by our beloved District Governor

Rtn. Suresh Hari S.

Mr. Padmesh K Vijay, Mr. Surya M, Ms. Surabhi K P, Mr. Pramod B N, Ms. Raksha K R and

Ms. Vandana N were inducted as the Charter members of the club and immediately followed by

the Installation of Rtr. Padmesh K Vijay (Student from Department of ISE & Annet of Rotary

Bangalore Basaveshwaranagar) as the Charter President of the Rotaract Club of Atria Institute of

Technology by District Governor Rtn. Suresh Hari S.

The dignitaries on the dais lighted the lamp. Charter President Rtr. Padmesh K Vijay delivered

his acceptance speech and gave a justification to the club’s theme logo “Build Yourself to Build

the Nation, Sneha-Seve-Sambrahma”. This was followed by Installation of Office Bearers Rtr.

Surya M (Student from Department of CSE) as the Charter Secretary, Rtr. Praveen J (Student

from Department of ISE) as the Treasurer, Rtr. Surabhi K P (Student of Department of ISE) as

Vice-President, Rtr. Raksha K R (Student from Department of ISE) as the Sergent-at-arms, Rtr.

Sumukha J Sharma as the Director – Community Service, Rtr. Bhargav B M as director – Club

Service, Rtr. VinayPrasad T S as the Director – International Service, Rtr. Yatish as Director –

Professional Service and Rtr. Vandana as the Director – Public Relations.

District Rotaract Committee Chairman Rtn. Ravi Shankar GRS released the club letterhead and

Guest of Honor Dr. Narayanaswamy K V, Principal, Atria Institute of Technology released the

club’s theme logo.

The event witnessed a wonderful address by District Director Rtr. Tarun, DRCC Rtn. Ravi

Shankar and Parent Rotary Immediate Past President Rtn.Balaraj. A wonderful motivational

address was delivered by the Principal, Dr. Narayanaswamy K V. A magnificent inspirational

address was rendered by District governor Rtn. Suresh Hari S.

Last but not the least Charter Secretary Rtr. Surya M made his announcements and delivered the

Vote of Thanks wherein the dignitaries on and off the dais including the HOD’s of various

departments, invitees was recognized.

And the meeting was adjourned by President Rtr. Padmesh K Vijay for Hi-Tea.

The entire protocol was maintained by the Master of Ceremony for the day by Faculty

Coordinator Prof. Hemalatha K N (Assistant Professor, Department of CSE).
