ROSEBANK COLLEGE A GOOD SAMARITAN BENEDICTINE CATHOLIC CO-EDUCATIONAL COLLEGE 2019 Academic Results Rosebank College congratulates the Class of 2019 for outstanding achievements in the HSC
The College is proud to acknowledge the excellent achievements of the 2019 HSC class. The ongoing academic growth of the College is reflected in that 9 out of 10 exam results were placed in the band 4, 5, or 6 range.
“As we end the 2nd decade of the 21st Century, it is encouraging to see the next generation of young men and women increase their overall performance. The results below and the achievements listed reflect a commitment to ensuring that Rosebank arranges all things so that the weak have nothing to fear, and the strong have much to strive for.” said Principal, Mr Tom Galea.
Exceptional achievements include: - 86% of all courses above State average- 25% of students appearing in the NESA Distinguished Achievers list- 51% of all examinations sat by Rosebank students achieved a Band 5 or 6- 89% of all examinations sat by Rosebank students achieved a Band 4, 5 or 6
Excellent results were achieved in a wide range of courses including: - 50% of Mathematics Extension 1 students achieved a Band 6- 38% of Music 1 students achieved a Band 6- 34% of Mathematics Advanced students achieved a Band 6
Subjects where students achieved in the top two Bands include: 100% in Mathematics Extension 2; 100% in English Extension 2; 100% in Information Processes Technology; 100% in Italian Extension; 100% in Music 1 & 2; 92% in Mathematics Extension 1; 89% in English Extension 1; 89% in Chinese Continuers; 80% in Food Technology; 77% in Visual Arts; 75% in Italian Continuers; 70% in Society & Culture; 67% in Ancient History; 66% in Mathematics Advanced; 64% in English Advanced; 60% in Studies of Religion 2; 59% in Community and Family Studies; 58% in Design and Technology; 58% in Legal Studies; 55% in Geography; 53% in PDHPE; 53% in Physics; 50% in Chemistry; 50% in Mathematics Standard 2.
