A Message from the Second Hand School Uniform Shop
Parents & Carers, Our stock levels in the Second Hand School Uniform Shop are very low. With the change of season now upon us, it is a great time to organise those wardrobes and clear out old uniforms that no longer fit your child. Please bring to the office or second hand shop. Your assistance is appreciated. Kind Regards Kate Isbell

P&C News
Thank you to everyone who attended our Mother's Day breakfast on Friday 11th May. It was such a lovely morning for mums and kids to celebrate and enjoy our wonderful community. We hope everyone loves their decorated book marks!
A huge thank you to Emma Daniell and Thais Mello for coordinating the event. They did an amazing job greatly assisted by all of the wonderful people who kindly offered help before the function and at the function. Without your help and support we wouldn't be able to put on our events.
Big thanks also to the office and support staff for their assistance and help in promoting the event, and especially Yanni for helping set everything up and pack away. The delicious catering was provided by Sandy Swartz of The Cooks Little Secret and La Bretagne Patisserie in Plumer Road, Rose Bay. A great big thank you to our generous donors for the lucky door prizes:
- Amanda Fuzes & Prana Space for the 10 visit pass to their yoga studio - Laura Goldberg & family for the Hurricanes voucher as well as the stunning Jekyll & Hide leather purse - Plenty Kitchen & Tableware for the gorgeous candles & diffuser - Winnie Karina for the beautiful Ecoya Hand Cream - Jennifer Fitzgerald for the wine - Parisis for the flowers
Our P & C meetings are held every 2 months, and the next meeting is on Tuesday 12th June at 7.00pm in the school library. It was lovely to see some new faces at our last meeting. We always encourage parents/carers to come and support the P & C. It's also a great way to hear some updates from our Principal, Gai ONeill and our Deputy Principal, Lynn Young, on what is going on at school and how our P & C raised money is helping our amazing school.
We look forward to our next big fundraiser - the Sportathon! The date for this will be confirmed soon, and we will be calling on parents/carers to help

NEW CLEARWAY ON THE WAY FOR NEW SOUTH HEAD ROAD
Member for Vaucluse Gabrielle Upton today announced that motorists will enjoy a smoother journey with a clearway coming to a busy section of New South Head Road which provides a gateway to Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. The new clearway will be introduced to improve traffic flow and reduce delays for motorists who travel east along on New South Head Road between Rushcutters Bay and Double Bay. “Around 30,000 vehicles travel eastbound on New South Head Road on weekdays and across the weekend. Introducing a clearway on this key transport corridor will help get residents to where they need to be sooner” Ms Upton said. “This stretch of road is extremely important for my community and I am very pleased that the NSW Government has listened to our concerns.” “At present, five lanes of traffic are squeezed into two lanes leading to major congestion, especially at weekends. This change will bring considerable benefits to eastern suburbs residents, reducing journey times” said Anthony Tregoning, a committee member of the Double Bay Residents Association which has lobbied for the clearway extension. Charlotte Feldman, President of the Darling Point Society has said, "The clearway will bring tremendous relief for motorists on this congested section of road and the Society welcomes the cooperation between Roads and Maritime Services and Council.” Ms Upton said new and extended clearways will operate in both directions from 6am to 7pm on weekdays and from 9am to 6pm on weekends and public holidays. “Roads and Maritime Services is working with Woollahra Council and the community to identify alternate business customer parking close to businesses between New Beach Road and Ocean Avenue. “The preferred option is to change three unrestricted spaces on New Beach Road close to New South Head Road to ‘2P’, with the remainder of business parking to be directed to the existing public carparks under the Edgecliff Centre and Eastpoint Food Fair.”
Ms Upton said feedback on the alternate parking arrangements is invited by Monday 18 June 2018 and will be considered when finalising the proposal. Comments can be provided by emailing [email protected] or calling the project team on 1300 706 232. The Clearways project team will also be available to discuss the new and extended clearway hours and proposed alternate business customer parking at Edgecliff Station on Thursday 31 May from 3pm to 7pm and Saturday 2 June from 10am to 1pm. For more information about the Sydney Clearways Strategy visit rms.nsw.gov.au/clearways.
