    Do you like to talk to peopleand engage with your

    community but are notcomfortable with canvassing?

    Then this is for you! As part ofour outreach initiative, we have

    been passing out flyers,

    participating in DowntownsFirst Friday, visiting churches,and taking advantage of other

    opportunities to spread theword. Are you willing to

    become a member of theoutreach team? We could sure

    use your smiling face in theseefforts as we continue to move

    forward the RCC. Remember,reaching out to others is

    something we can all do, and isnecessary as we approach the

    opening of our store.

    Strawberry Punch

    Bowl Cake

    Ingredients

    2 yellow cake layers

    1 cup sugar

    3 tablespoons cornstarch

    3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin1 cup water

    2 cups fresh strawberries, cut in 1/2 (if

    berries are extra-large, they can be cut into

    quarters)16 oz cool whip

    For the glaze:

    In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar,

    cornstarch, and gelatin; add water. Cook,

    stirring, over medium heat until thick.

    Remove from heat and allow to cool

    completely. Fold in strawberries.For assembly:

    Place 1 layer of cake in a large clear bowl.

    Top with a layer of glaze, followed by a

    layer of cool whip. Repeat layering in this

    order for remaining cake, glaze, and coolwhip. Garnish with strawberries and servechilled.
