In little Red Riding Hood there was there lived a fat ugly wolf, he is very creepy. He had a long mouth and a small black nose. He is grey and he has very sharp teeth. Marcus

Long ago there lived a giant called Cuchulainn from an Irish Tale. Cuchulainn was a strong giant with a magic finger. All his strength was in his finger. He was scarier than a bat. He went to Finn McCool’s house at 4 o’clock to fight but…….when Oona said “Touch the baby’s gums.” Cuchulainn did what he was told.”Just to please you then I’ll be off.” Said Cuchulainn. So he put

his magic finger and SNAP Finn bit it off. by James

Fishing By SierraI went on Lake Taupo and I had fun.went fishing on a cat on Lake Taupo. I caught a big snapper. It was too big so it tugged on my line. I also fell in the water. I LUCKILY I had my life jacket on. It saved my life!! I got back in the boat and in the boat I found a medium sized fish. I love eating fish. The food is good. I love fishing because I love being on the boat. I love fishing don’t you??

Quaky Cat was very scared , because he has never had an EARTHQUAKE in Christchurch. I bet Quaky Cat is not scared now the earthquake has gone. He was a scared cat and he is yellow. By Cadi

Tiger lives in Christchurch, he is a fast running cat. He is a boy and he is orange. He looks sad. There were no birds around because it was an earthquake. He is fat. He was looking for his owner. His Emma was holding a teddy. Everything was broken. The story was a sad story. I liked the story. Tiger is a stripy cat and he was lost in the broken Christchurch. He was running and he was a scary cat. I like him. By Hannah

Tiger lives in a wooden house in Christchurch. He has stripes like a tiger. He is the bravest cat in Christchurch. He heard roaring and smashing. He past the swimming pool, that was leaking. He climbed the tall trees and then he went down the tree and smelt something funny. He saw Emma. “Hi Emma.” “Hi Tiger.” They both said. By Sam
