Washington Green Fine Art is proud to present Raw Instinct, a collection widely acknowledged as Ronnie Wood’s single most important body of work to date.

Comprising original art, brand new limited edition works, hand-

written song lyrics and embellished guitars, Raw Instinct provides

a unique and revealing insight into the world of Ronnie Wood and

The Rolling Stones.

As much an artist as he is a musician, Ronnie Wood’s two talents

have become almost inseparable. It is as natural to find him with

a pencil as with a guitar, drawing portraits of band members and

musicians he admires, as well as family, close friends and self

portraits.

Ronnie Wood’s remarkable flair and style - which has become

synonymous with the electrifying thrill of a Stones performance - is

found in abundance in Raw Instinct. The collection delves deep

into the fabric of Wood’s personal experience of life in The Rolling

Stones. Pencil drawings capturing life on tour and hand-written

song lyrics illustrate life behind-the-scenes, whilst bold, powerful

and rousing paintings of some of the band’s most memorable

performances capture the incredible energy that has created the

world’s greatest rock 'n roll band.

Raw Instinct is a marrying of Ronnie's two creative outpourings,

shaping them into a visual anthology of musical and artistic

heritage which gives a unique and unfiltered perspective on The

Stone’s remarkable journey through 50 golden years of rock n roll.
