Third Annual Interfaith Passover Seder with Faith House &St. Francis Xavier Church55 West 15th StreetSunday, April 17, 6:30pm

Romemu is partnering with Faith House and St. Francis Xavier Church to host the 3rd Annual Interfaith Seder. The Passover Seder is a ritualized meal commemorating the Exodus. It was also the setting of Jesus' Last Supper. The Seder is a remarkable way of learning about the Jewish roots of Christianity. People of all faiths and no faith at all are welcomed. Social Justice Committee MeetingSunday, April 10Please join us for the first Social Justice Committee meeting, Sunday, April 10! During this meeting we will be exploring social justice as it relates to our faith and how it can inform social action.

Topic for discussion: Tikkun Olam is an important principle within the Jewish faith. What does this mean and how can we connect it to our every day lives? How is this very fundamental tenant connected to the larger picture of social justice and community organizing?
