Romans 3

What advantage has the Jew? Both Jews and Greeks are all under sin There is none righteous (3:10) Righteousness comes by faith in Jesus

Christ (3:22) God is just and justifier of one who has faith

Romans 3:7

Romans 3:7 “If my rejection of the truth serves to make the truthfulness of God more apparent and thus increase His glory, then why am I still condemned as a sinner?”

Romans 4

Romans 5:13

Explanation of Romans 5:13 “Prior to the giving of the Law through Moses, sin

was in the world. But technically it was not charged to our account as sin because there was no law to define it. One cannot break a law that does not exist. Nevertheless, death, the consequence of sin, was in effect from Adam until Moses, even for those who did not break a specific command like Adam’s.” Robert H. Mounce
