Memes are popular for social media and can help to create engagement with
your audience.

Video Prompts
Video is a great way for you to get in front of your clients on a more personal
level. They can see you, hear you and feel your passion. The videos do not
have to be a professional video session every time. Your clients want to see
you are real. Video short clips and post weekly. You can get great
introductions created (see resource guide) and make your videos have a
professional yet personal feel to them. Here are 52 video prompts for you to
get started. These video prompts are general travel tips. Make them your own.
Keep your videos short, 1 – 2 minutes. Use visuals if you feel comfortable.
Travel Tips:
1- Bring a power strip
2- Cross packing
3- Things to bring on a plane : Earplugs, scarf, lip balm, eye drops, lotion,
sanitizer
4- Ziplocs for everything jewelry, toiletries, medication, toothbrushes, vitamins
5- Roll your clothes for optimal space
6- Know the 3-1-1 FAA rule
7- Use your shoes as packing containers. Place socks, chargers, etc. in them.
8- Use a handbag as your jewelry pouch
9- Make copies of passport, driver’s license
13
© SHANNON LEBLANC WWW.INSPIREDBYSHANNON.COM
10- Back up all of your computers, phones, notebooks before leaving. Clear
your phone of all pictures. Store them on a cloud based storage.
11- Hotel safety Ask for two business cards with the hotel name and address.
Place one by the phone in your room. If there is an emergency, and you
call for help, you’ll have the name and address of your location. Place the
other in your pocket or purse. If you have to take a cab or get lost, you
can show the driver your location and avoid being taken to the wrong
hotel.
12- Remote controls – this is likely to be the germiest thing in the room. Slide it
into one of those small clean trash bags or wrap it in a wash cloth before
pressing the buttons. Use sanitizer on it!
13- Photocopies of credit cards, valuables , jewelry, email copies to yourself
and/or store on a cloud based program
14- Most front desk personnel do this anyway…Ask the front desk personnel
not to announce your room number. Rather, tell them to write it down or
point to it. If the desk clerk should do this, explain the problem and asked
to be given another room. You never know who is listening. Your room
number is a matter of security, and the fewer people that know your
whereabouts, the better. There’s no need to announce it to the entire
hotel lobby.
15- Photography- bring along a camera, don’t just use your phone. What
happens if you lose your phone or break it! Bring digital camera with
several SD cards, that way all of your images are not on just one card!
Keep in your carry-on luggage! Invest in an underwater camera also
usually has video option…for more fun….take lots and lots of
pictures..sunrise and sunset are great photographing times!
14
© SHANNON LEBLANC WWW.INSPIREDBYSHANNON.COM
16- Do not pack something you have never worn before! Especially if its
shoes! Uncomfortable shoes, shoes that have not been broken into will
make for unhappy feet!
17- Tip your hotel housekeeping staff. (A good rule is to leave them about $2
U.S. /day.) While you can leave it every day on the pillow, most staff is
instructed not to move money or personal items, so they might not pick it
up. If this is the case, just leave it in a prominent spot when you check out.
18- If you don’t speak the local language of the place you are heading, then
at least learn the following phrases: Please. Thank you. Where is the
bathroom? And I’m sorry.
19- Call your credit card company before you leave and put a travel alert on
your card. While you’re at it, jot down their international customer service
number.
20- Download music, movies, books, podcasts to listen to on the plane. Also
pack a portable charger if your flight is really long!
21- If you’ve forgotten something, check with the hotel before running to a
drugstore. Most housekeeping departments carry toothbrushes, combs,
sewing kits, shower caps, and disposable razors that they will give you free
of charge
22- Dryer sheets remove static from your hair and clothing and make your
suitcase smell awesome while taking up virtually no room.
15
© SHANNON LEBLANC WWW.INSPIREDBYSHANNON.COM
23- Keep a travel journal/diary/blog
24- Write down important phone numbers! We have become so accustomed
to programming contacts in our phone. If your phone is lost/stolen you will
have a list of important numbers such as: Parents and/or kids, work/boss,
your travel consultant
25-First aid kit! Tips on what you should have in it:
o Over-the-counter medicines
o Antidiarrheal medication (for example, bismuth subsalicylate,
loperamide)
o Antihistamine
o Decongestant, alone or in combination with antihistamine
o Anti-motion sickness medication
o Medicine for pain or fever (such as acetaminophen, aspirin, or
ibuprofen)
o Mild laxative
o Cough suppressant/expectorant
o Cough drops
o Antacid
o antibacterial ointments or creams
o 1% hydrocortisone cream
o Bandaids
o Prescription medications
26 -Pack a beach bag
16
© SHANNON LEBLANC WWW.INSPIREDBYSHANNON.COM
27 -Make a list of what you need to pack for each person….lay everything
out before you pack
28 -Pack a small flash light/keep in your carry on
29 -Make your luggage stand out!
30 -Must have travel gadgets!
31 -Ginger! For motion sickness, upset tummy… ginger ale… ginger pills,
ginger powder, ginger tea
32 – Adjust your watch when you board the plane to your destination time.
This helps combat jet lag.
33 -Binder clips! Protect razor heads…Wrap headphones around a binder clip
to prevent them from tangling.
34- If you forget your wall plug, you can charge devices through the USB slot
on a TV.
35-water and snacks….for water Bring your own water bottle (empty).
Depending on the airline’s own policies regarding drink costs, the amount of
times water is offered may not be to your liking. Having your own water bottle
ensures that you have water when you want it. When they do come around,
top off your bottle with what they give you.
36- Ensure that you have a pen before leaving home so you can complete
customs forms. Fill the forms out when you get them, and ensure that your
family members have theirs filled as well. People will clamor for your pen; flight
attendants rarely have them.
17
© SHANNON LEBLANC WWW.INSPIREDBYSHANNON.COM
37- Have a souvenir list prepared, and stick to it. This will save you money and
prevent you from purchasing something that “you’ll find someone to give to
another time”
38-best way to watch movies on your phone/ use sunglasses turned over
39- Split your cash stash: Put cash in various places, such as your wallet, pocket,
shoes, and your luggage.
40- Minimize jet lag by eating right
Avoid jet lag by getting plenty of exercise the day before you leave, which will
also help you sleep on the plane. When you arrive in your destination, get
plenty of fresh air, to further stave off jet lag
Yes, experts recommend laying off booze and caffeine, as they dehydrate you
and make jet lag worse. In terms of food, eating meals when they would be
served at your destination helps adjust your circadian rhythm. What you eat
matters too — heavily processed food like that served on planes dehydrates
you, so the best thing to do is either skip a meal or two or eat healthy snacks or
foods that are high in protein.
41- If you’re heading to a theme park or the beach, put your phone in a plastic
bag to prevent it from getting wet.
42- To prevent bottles from leaking in your luggage, place plastic wrap over the
container and then seal it with the cap.
43-you can google your airline name and flight number to check the status of
your flight.
43- Take photos of a range of things you may need to ask for when travelling.
Show photos to non-English speakers to help them help you.
18
© SHANNON LEBLANC WWW.INSPIREDBYSHANNON.COM
44- Hair straighteners make a surprisingly good iron for collars and hems
45- If you need someone to take a photo for you on holiday, pick a family with
kids. They're almost guaranteed not to make off with your camera! Just don't
choose this chap...
46- Putting your smartphone in a mug makes an effective DIY speaker for
playing music.
47- . Keep track of small stud earrings by fastening the set through buttonholes
before slipping them into your jewelry bag. Use pill case compartments or an
old lip balm container to organize and keep track of your smaller jewelry, like
rings and earrings.
48- Protect breakables such as glass fragrance bottles by slipping them into
socks before packing them.
49-sunglass case Toss your makeup brushes or other small beauty products in a
slim sunglasses case when traveling so you won't lose them. And pack chargers
in them as well
50- Your shoes should be the first to go in your suitcase. Line them up along the
bottom in heel-to-toe arrangements.
19

51- Middle seat gets the armrest. The armrest is rarely a battlefield, know who
has priority.

setting up an affiliate account with Amazon this way you can include links to
these cool gadgets and when clients click on the link to order you get a
commission.) This one is a bonus because you can do an individual video on

11 Bridal Show Tips
Here are tips to help you have a successful bridal show. The main thing to
remember is this is usually your first impression with a bride. Make it count. Be
you. Be authentic and be real. Have realistic expectations. You will likely not
come away with booking 5 honeymoons or 1 that night. You are starting the
beginning of your relationship with potential clients. The key is going to be in
the follow up.
1. Have a give away
The prize does not have to be a trip. Talk to local vendors and businesses that
you have already established a relationship with, they may donate the prize or
give you a discount for promoting them.
dinner for 2 at a local restaurant
Bottle of wine or champagne
Gift basket for beach
Candy
A book about honeymoons
2. Make your booth interactive.
A booth that is busy creates a buzz. You want buzz!
Have a Social media contest. Create a Hashtag for your booth. Have
them use the Hashtag.
Have signs made (about 8.00 each) that said something cute like "Going
to paradise"...for them to win the prize they had to let me take a picture of
them and sign up on my email list. Whoever got the most likes by a
certain date won the prize. I got over 200 likes on page in 3 days!!! This
was a small bridal show. The vendors were coming over and seeing what
was going on.... It was FUN!
22
© SHANNON LEBLANC WWW.INSPIREDBYSHANNON.COM
3. Do NOT have brochures at all unless you are co-oping with a supplier.
Brides already get so much JUNK and STUFF. Who knows what they do with it
when they get home. They get overwhelmed. Do not waste your time with
the brochures. If they are interested and want brochures write their name
down on a small note pad with notes about the couple and follow up with
them and deliver a brochure to them at their office or over coffee that
makes a greater impression and you get to start a relationship with them.
4. Have your own unique promotional items that they will remember. (Get
ideas from Evelyn and insert her into resources).
5. Have business cards. Make sure your business card has a professional
photograph of you on it. This helps people remember you better.
6. Be creative
Make your booth SIMPLE but creative.
play some island music
bring a fake palm tree
put some sand on the floor in a pan...let them feel the sand in their toes
have a chalk board or a big white board and have the couples write
down their honeymoon destination with their name and wedding date
by it
do a kissing booth...where they kiss each other in a frame that has your
business name on it
put a hammock in your booth
serve drinks with little umbrellas
have them write their name and wedding date in the sand at your sand
booth
7. Keep a notebook handy.
Jot down notes about couples that you talk with. Write notes that will
trigger your memory. For example. Britney and Mom. Bride looked like
Taylor Swift and had very talkative Mom, bride wants to go Bora Bora.
23
© SHANNON LEBLANC WWW.INSPIREDBYSHANNON.COM
8. Have a follow up campaign in place.
This is where the names you take on a simple clip board with name,
address, emails come into play. Set up an autoresponder to reach out to them
at least 6 times after the bridal show.
1- Thank them for stopping by the booth and participating in your contest (if
you do one).
2- Tell them a little bit about you and how you can help them...include a
testimonial- remind them of the contest.
3- Top 3 reasons why honeymoons are better when booking through a travel
agent
4- Why a Honeymoon is important
5- How to budget for a honeymoon
6- Create a call to action in this last email for them to contact you
Show up with the intention of making connections
Tear down your booth after ALL of the brides have left.
9. Follow up as soon as you can with the ones you had instant connections
with! As soon as you get the list from the show send out your email campaign.
10. Connect with other vendors and create relationships with them. You can
be a great referral source for each other.
11. Create a follow up event that you host either virtual or live that will focus on
honeymoons and why they are important. You can do a conference call,
webinar, google hang out or joint venture with a local wedding vendor that is
looking to get traffic in their place of business.
