Royals Chorale renders their winning piece in
Muntinlupa Chorale Competition
Performing arts is one aspect that SMC students are also
proficient in.
Last December 06, 2019, our SMC Royals Chorale won Second Runner up in the Muntinlupa Choir Competition. The contest was held at the Muntinlupa Museum’s
Auditorium.
They performed the winning piece, “Simbang Gabi” and
“Carol of the Bells”.
SMC students win in APSAM Academic
Race 2019
SMC students have proven once again their exemplary performance in academics. The standards of our curriculum remained a strong force in making our students proficient in all
subject areas.
The Junior High School team of Abdul Wahab Naina (Grade 9 Integrity), Jaqueline Palo (Grade 10 Resilience), and Andrea Li Santos (Grade 10 Resilience) emerged as this year’s Second Runner-up amongst 22 teams from different private schools of Muntinlupa. They performed extraordinarily well from the eliminations up until the finals by getting high scores
in Math, Science, and Social Studies.
The APSAM Academic Race aims to promote excellence in Science, Math, Communication Arts (English and Filipino), and Social Studies (HEKASI and Araling Panlipunan) and uplift the academic standing of private schools in Muntinlupa in the National Achievement Test (NAT) and the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE). The activity also serves as venue for awareness as regards developments in the fields of Science, Mathematics, Communication
Arts and Social Studies.
The 2019 APSAM Academic Race, which was participated in by Junior high School students
was held last October 08, 2019 at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex West Wing.

SMC students donate for
victims of calamities
While being academically competent, SMC students remain
true to our motto of “Excellentia et Servitium”.
Last December 09, 2019, our students’ donations were brought by the Student Council Officers in GMA Kapuso Foundation warehouse in Quezon City. The student leaders also helped in the repacking of the relief goods which will be donated to the victims of the most recent calamities that
struck parts of Mindanao and Luzon.

Nigh Market and Bazaar Help your child become a leader
Being a leader and developing leadership skills is learned. While
some children may have a little more confidence in themselves
than others, it does not necessarily make them a leader. It has
been proven countless times throughout history that anyone
can learn to be a leader. As a parent, you will play a huge part
in whether your child is a leader or follower in life.
1. A “Leader” says “Yes, I Can!”
It's called the power of Positive Attitude. Teach your
children to say “Yes I can!” even when they are not sure.
Help them understand the power of a positive attitude.
2. A “Leader” says “It's not a problem, it's a Challenge!”
It's called Overcoming Adversity. Teach your children to
ask better questions and be creative in finding solutions to
life's challenges. Help them find the lesson in each of life's
challenges.
3. A “Leader” says “Never give up, never give up, never
give up!” It's called Perseverance. Teach your children
the power and importance of not quitting and fulfilling their
commitments in life. Help them develop a habit of
persistence and fulfilling commitments.
