1. Roles and Responsibilities Sam Story, directing, filming, props, ancillary design. editing and video graphics (including audio editing). Matt Photography, filming, location scouting, ancillary design & creation, editing. Randolf Research into existing products, production scheduling, acting, ancillary design, editing. Responsibilities of each role Story - Creating story outline of trailer Directing - Making sure the original vision for the trailer is captured. Filming - Using the camera to film the scenes. Props - Organising and getting props for use in the trailer. Ancillary design - Designing the film poster and DVD cover. Ancillary creation - Using the designs to create the final product for poster and DVD. Editing - Trailer editing - Editing the final trailer using clips and editng software. - Audio editing - Editing together different audio clips (including dialogue). - Video graphics - Creating titles for use in the trailer. Photography - Taking pictures for use in the ancillary task. Location Scouting - Finding locations to shoot scenes in that fit the story of the film. Research into existing products - Looking into exisiting films of the same genre to gain influence for our own film. Production scheduling - Scheduling when different parts of the trailer's production will be started or completed by. 2. Acting - Playing a role in front of the camera during filming scenes.
