existing strengths and potential

Supporting of activities aiming at strengthening of Kielce Trade Fair position and trade services and elaborating ways of benefiting from the existence of KTF for attracting new investors and promoting already existing

Strengthening of the position of KMA as the heart of Polish construction business basing on rich mineral sources

Creation of new business – BPO on the basis of existing potential in human capital (second position of Kielce among regional capital cities), presence of business service organizations, financial institutions and good financial condition of Kielce municipality budget (‘A’ in national rating)




GOAL 2Raising of investment attractiveness of KMA

Adopting new standards of economic promotion

Cooperation of cities authorities with companies and business service organizations

Preparation of developing of investment sites Supporting of construction of regional airport Enlarging of Starachowice Special Economic

Complementation with other interventionsThis program is settled in the Strategy for Development of Kielce City for 2007-2020 and in existing strategies of municipalities of KMA. It is complementary to:

• Project ‘Creation and Development of Investor Assistance Centres Network’, Regional Operational Program for Eastern Poland, co-financed with ERDF• Project ’Development of Local Transportation System in KMA’, Regional Operational Program for Eastern Poland, co-financed with ERDF• Project ‘Economic and Investment Promotion of Swietokrzyski Region basing on the potential of Kielce Fair Trade Center’, Regional Operational Program for Eastern Poland, co-financed with ERDF



Financing of your pilot project (fundings)



Innovative character

It is a very innovative program not only in its content but also in the way it has been elaborating. This is the first program ever, which will be prepared for the whole KMA and the first engaging all municipalities in this process.

The bases for new business will be developed – BPO, new modern tools for showing investment sites will be created – GIS, new standards of economic promotion will be adopted, new phenomena for KMA – urban sprawl will be explained and understood.
