Uses of waterstop

Waterstop is designed for use inany concrete structure whichcontains joints and is subjected to ahydrostatic load on one face of thestructure.

Waterstop prevents watermovement through concrete joints in water reservoirs, locks, canals, andsewage treatment plants, bridges,stadiums, Basements, floor slabs,parking, Garages and similarstructures.

Waterstops are available in 2 types:

Plain Web waterstops: use inConstruction & Contraction joints

Center Bulb waterstops: use inContraction & Expansion joints

The centrally placed waterstop gives a guarantee against water leaks. Centrally placed waterstops are mainly suitable for use in water retaining and water excluding structures, having the capabilities of holding out against water pressure from both internal and external face.

They are also specifically designed for water retaining structures, for walls and slabs where a difference of pressure may occur such as "reservoir walls ". They equally suit for joints in suspended slabs, ground floor slabs, vertical and lift joints.

Working conditions for Extrusion: Any good extruder designed for PVC may suitable for this type extrusion provided that it is

equipped with convenient heat and screw having a good homogenizing capacity.

Packing

The product is packed in multiply polypropylene bags of 25 kg/bag on pallet shrink foiled with polyethylene or polypropylene bags of

The product must be stored in ambient temperature, keep containers dry and tightly closed to avoid moisture absorption and

contamination.
