Watching the boat

This painting has been done in 1912 by Helen McNicoll. She used oil on the canvas. In this painting, a little texture has been used, a lot of colors, organic shapes, strong value and a really positive space on the girls. I think the main subject of this painting is that the two girls are relaxing and perhaps watching at a boat. In my opinion this painting is wonderful and I really like it, it give a really good feeling and relaxation.

The little worker This painting has been done in 1907 by Helen McNicoll. She used oil on canvas as well. In this painting, some texture specially on grasses, lots of color, organic shapes, lots of value and a positive space on the girl has been used. The main subject in this painting is that this little girl is on the mountain and hills and she is working. My opinion about this painting is that is amazing and make you really come and make you feel good.

War canoes, Alert bay

This paying has been done in 1908 by Emily Carr. She used water colors for this painting. In this painting a lot of value has been used, lots of different colors, an positive space on the front of the ships and a negative space on the back of the ships. I think the main subject of the this painting is to show how was the Alert bay look like before the war. In my opinion this is really nice picture and it's really colorful and I like it. You think you are in the picture.

The heart of the forest

This painting has been done in 1935 by Emily Carr. I think what she used was oil colors. In this painting a lot of value with different colors had been used, some texture and organic shapes. I think the main subject is that show how amazing and beautiful the nature and the trees are. I really like this picture because it will give a good feeling of nature.

The cove This painting has been done in 2005 by Ross Penhall. He had use oil to draw this picture. In this painting a strong value has been used, lots of organic shapes and colors. I think the main subject is that the cove is a really beautiful place. In my opinion this is awesome picture to have and I really like the magnificent view. When I look at this picture I feel really good and make me connected to the nature.

Engagement This painting has been done around the 1900s by Ross Penhall. He has used oil and on the canvas. In this painting a beautiful texture and amazing value with different colors and organic shapes. The main subject is nature. In my opinion this painting is really amazing and I love it! I fell that I'm lost in the middle of the forest.
