TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

True to their motto, “value for many”, FGV have designed a state of the art sliding door solution, The Domino. Both materials and components used are chosen for their ability to deliver perfect functioning at an affordable price.

The different components of the system are easy to assemble. Safety stop and anti-lift features are an integral part of the design.

Now let’s assemble a door:

Now that we have everything cut to the correct size we can assemble the doors. Please see below diagram for more information.

1. Using your Insert (Board/Glass/Mirror) as the base.

2. Add the vertical profiles as indicated. Your vertical profile should clip into your insert tightly.

3. Now add the Top & Bottom Profiles. You might have to gently tap them into place with a rubber mallet.

4. The Top & Bottom Profile should finish squarely next to your Vertical Profile. Using your Combination Square make sure all the corners are square (90degree’s).

5. When you are satisfied that everything is square and straight you can fix your wheels in place using the self tapper screw’s provided.

6. Ensure that the wheels are in their designated grooves to ensure easy installation per diagram 5 & 6.

Glass Safety:

The Glass or Mirror should be 5mm thick and have a safety film behind it and gets fitted into the frame with a 12mm gasket. When the gasket is installed with the 5mm glass it should fit tightly enabling the safe use of glass in the sliding doors.

Glass Size:

The same measurements used above are also true for glass. Request that the Glass Company polish the edge of the glass. Safety is important.

Now let’s assemble a door:
