Enjoy travelling on the Rocky Mountaineer train through the breathtaking scenery of the Rockies, playing five of Canada’s best championship golf courses.

The event is strictly limited to 15 professionals and 45 amateurs!

The CompetitionAMATEURSThe “Rocky Mountaineer Canada Pro-Am 2016” will be a 4BB team Stableford and individual competition played over five rounds. There will be daily and overall prizes for men and ladies, both team and individual. The individual competition will include handicap divisions for both men and ladies and an overall scratch event for A-grade handicaps. There will be Nearest to Pin and Long Drive during the 5-round competition. Current proof of your handicap will be required.

PROFESSIONALSProfessionals will play an individual stroke event over 5 rounds for the prize money as well as participating in the 4BB Stableford event with their team.

The par 71 championship course winds along a gentle valley floor offering you this spectacular setting as your golfing skills are tested to the fullest.

Canada’s master golf course designer Stanley Thompson has displayed some of his finest work of his career. The 18 hole layout offers elevated tees, dramatic bunkering and holes aligned with distance mountain vistas.

Stewart Creek Golf & Country ClubThe pinnacle of Canada’s mountain golf is Stewart Creek. Few courses in North America enjoy the spectacular combination of extraordinary views and fantastic golf. Designed in 2000 by Canadian architect Gary Browning it was voted by Golf Week Magazine in 2012, 13, 14 as the best modern Canadian course.

Banff Springs Golf CourseRenowned for its panoramic beauty and challenging layout in the heart of the Rocky Mountains Stanley Thompson, designed the original course in 1928. With breathtaking views in every direction this magnificent championship course winds along the Bow River under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle. A perfect place to finish our “Rocky Mountaineer Canada Pro-Am 2016”.

Day 1: Friday 2nd September, 2016

Arrive Vancouver and transfer to the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel where your rooms will be ready for early check-in. Spend the rest of your day exploring beautiful Vancouver. In the evening Welcome Dinner with drinks..Accommodation: Sheraton Wall Centre D

Day 2: Saturday 3rd September, 2016

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Morgan Creek Golf Course where you will enjoy a private Trick Show by Sandy Kurceba, the world’s number one trick shot artist followed by lunch at the clubhouse.Shotgun start for the first round of the “Rocky Mountaineer Canada Pro-Am 2016” at 1:00pm. You will play in carts. Evening is at your leisure.Accommodation: Sheraton Wall Centre BL

Day 3: Sunday 4th September, 2016

Early morning transfer to the Rocky Mountaineer train where you will be served breakfast on route to the famous ski resort town of Whistler. The Rocky Mountaineer takes you on a breathtaking rail journey through

the stunning scenery of the Sea to Sky Corridor. Highlights of the trip include spectacular views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, Brandywine Falls, Mount Garibaldi and the impressive Cheakamus Canyon. Upon arrival in Whistler, you will be taken directly to the Jack Nicklaus North Course. Lunch will be at the clubhouse and shotgun start for the second round of the “Rocky Mountaineer Canada Pro-Am 2016” will be at 1:00pm. You will play in carts. Day 4: Monday 5th September, 2016

Travel on-board the Rocky Mountaineer to the charming rural town of Quesnel, gateway to the North Cariboo. Enjoy breathtaking and varied scenery, from the river canyons and lush farmland of the Pemberton Valley, through the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon, to rolling hills and vast ranch lands of the lriboo Plateau. Highlights include the shorelines of Anderson Lake and glacier-fed Seton Lake, sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon, and the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world. Day 5: Tuesday 6th September, 2016

Your journey continues eastwards today to the majestic Canadian Rockies and Jasper National Park. From Quesnel, the Rocky Mountaineer follows the Fraser River north to the town of Prince George, then travels east through the forests of northern British Columbia, home to plentiful wildlife, including a large population of moose. Entering the Rocky Mountain Trench you are surrounded by the steeply rising Rocky Mountains to the north and the Cariboo Mountains to the south. Continue climbing past Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet) the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, through Yellowhead Pass into the province of Alberta. Your rail journey ends today on arrival in Jasper. Breakfast and lunch will be served on the train. Evening is at your leisure.Accommodation: Crimson Inn, Jasper BL

Day 6: Wednesday 7th September, 2016

After breakfast at the hotel you will transfer to Fairmont Jasper Park Golf Club for the third round of the “Rocky Mountaineer Canada Pro-Am 2016”. Shotgun start at 9:00am. You will play in carts. After lunch in the clubhouse return to the hotel. Evening is at your leisure.Accommodation: Crimson Inn, Jasper BL

Day 7: Thursday 8th September, 2016

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will travel to Banff via one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. A stop will be made at Athabasca Falls before arriving at the Columbia Icefield. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features. Time will be available for lunch (not included). Afterwards, a brief stop will be made at Bow Lake before arriving in Banff this afternoon. Take a short walk to dinner at a local favourite tonight, the Ticino Restaurant. Day 8: Friday, 9th September, 2016

After breakfast you transfer to Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club for the fourth round of the “Rocky Mountaineer Canada Pro-Am 2016”. Shotgun start at 9:00am. You play in carts. After lunch in the clubhouse you will return to the hotel where your evening is at leisure.Accommodation: The Banff Ptarmigan Inn BL

Day 9: Saturday 10th September, 2016

After breakfast at the hotel you will transfer to the Banff Springs Golf Course for the final round of the “Rocky Mountaineer Canada Pro-Am 2016”. Shotgun start at 9:00am. You play in carts.

Prices:We reserve the right to adjust prices whether or not you have already made full payment. We will do everything within our control not to adjust prices and will generally only amend prices in the event of market fluctuations in exchange rates, fuel costs and other operating costs on which prices are based. Tour price are also subject to minimum numbers.

Deposit / Final balance:A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $1,500 per person is required within 5 days of confirmation. If deposit is not received by the due date, the booking will be cancelled without notification. Final balance payment will be due no later than 15th June 2016. If the final balance payment is not received by the due date, your booking will be cancelled and initial deposit forfeited.

Cancellations:For bookings cancelled before 15th June 2016, 50% of your tour payment will be forfeited, minimum of $1,500 For cancellations made after 15th June 2016, 100% of your tour payment will be forfeited. Cancellations must be received in writing and are not effective until this notification has been received.

Group conditions:A minimum number of passengers are required to operate this tour. Should minimum passenger numbers not be met we will review the operation of this tour, and additional costs may apply. Host attendance is subject to minimum numbers.

Amendments:Changes made after deposit has been paid will incur a $250 per person amendment fee. In addition, a cancellation fee may be payable.

*Airfares and Transfers:International flights are ex SYD and are included in the published price. Price includes taxes and subject to change. Flights are with Air Canada, based on a group airfare, subject to minimum numbers.

Tour itinerary adjustments:We reserve the right to alter the itinerary including sight-seeing, schedules, hotels, and other tour inclusions to accommodate unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control.

Single Rooms:A limited number of rooms are available at the single supplement price. If you are willing to share with another person of the same gender, we will do

all possible to match you up. Single supplement will apply unless we are successful in finding another passenger to share. Once on tour, should either passenger decide they no longer wish to share, additional cost will apply to secure single rooms, and will be subject to availability.

Passports/Visas:All passengers must have a valid passport that is valid for at least six months after the holiday package return date. Passengers must consult with the appropriate consulates to ensure that they have any applicable visas for countries included in the holiday package prior to departure.

Travel Insurance:Travel insurance is compulsory for all Great Events. Please ensure you arrange this prior to departure. Travel insurance is not included in the tour cost, and is at an additional expense.

Tipping and gratuities:Tipping and gratuities for tour director, local guides, drivers and porterage are NOT included and are payable on tour at your discretion. Unless specified in the itinerary inclusions.

Documentation:Your documentation will be available approximately two weeks prior to your departure. Your consultant will contact you when your travel documents are ready for collection.
