Ogden Proposed Project

– West Point Substation – a new 40 MVA transformer and 138 kV line. In service by Nov 1, 2014. Estimated cost: $14,000,000. This project addresses capacity issues on Xfmr#1 at Clearfield South and Clinton.

– Midland - Install a new 30 MVA 138-12.5 kV Xfmr w/LTC. Earlier scheduled to be in service by Nov 2017. Estimated cost: $3,000,000. Can be deferred till 2023 with a distribution load transfer between West Roy and Clinton after West Point substation is in service with further distribution upgrades.

Operate CB 49 at the Brigham Switch Rack in a normally open position.

– Eliminates low voltage conditions and thermal overload of lines under N-1 conditions.

– Eliminates overload of Riverdale Xfmrs during N-1 conditions.

– In service by May 1, 2013.
