FENCING • SEATING • FEATURE WALLS BY PROSPECT CONTRACTORS

description

Rockweld are gabion products made from rigid lightweight, galvanised steel mesh, which can be filled with rock, stone or pebbles. They are great as an alternative to more traditional types of fencing such as brush fencing, as they are fire proof and graffiti resistant. The finished look is natural as well as contemporary and can be an interesting feature to any home or business. Rockweld fences provide privacy and security as well as act as a noise barrier. This brochure is a selection of Rockweld projects by Prospect Contractors.

PROSPECT FENCEProspect Fence Location: Prospect, SA

Client: Domestic

The owners of this property wanted to replace their existing brush fence with a more modern and durable Rockweld fence. The new fence is also a much safer alternative, as brush fencing is a potential fire hazard. Larger sandstone rock was used which was hand faced, opposed to ‘tipped in’ pebble.

AULDANA CURVED WALLAuldana Curved Wall Location: Auldana, SA

Client: Domestic

Prospect Contractors built a full circular Rockweld feature wall for a home owner at Auldana. The client is very pleased with the rural look it added to their property.

DRYANDRA DRIVE WALLDryandra Drive Wall Location: Gumeracha, SA

HALLETT ROAD FENCEHallett Road Fence Location: Burnside, SA

The owners of a home in Burnside contacted Prospect Contractors to install a high Rockweld fence to provide privacy as well as to reduce noise from the traffic along their busy residential street. A low retaining wall was also built to retain the soil in the front garden below the fence, creating a neat pathway to the front entrance to the house.

KANGARILLA WATER FEATUREKangarilla Weld Mesh Water Feature Location: Kangarilla, SA

Client: Domestic

The owners of a property in Kangarilla approached Prospect Contractors with the idea of a water feature. Together we designed a hand faced s-shaped wall that sits in a custom made concrete basin. Water is pumped up through the rocks and trickles down the sides of the wall.

ROCKWELD SEATINGWeld mesh filled with rock is often used in bench seating. The seat added to the top of the Rockweld can be made out of timber slabs or slats, concrete or recycled wood plastic composite (by Cosset). The seats are durable and aesthetically pleasing, complimenting the natural environment. Prospect Contractors have built and installed Rockweld seats in many commerical and domestic situations.
