IN GRATITUDE Due to the continued support of our investors and the community we are able to conduct the daily work of economic development. This work is critical increase the economic well-being of our region by cultivating opportunities for primary job growth and retention.

IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTWe launched Loving the 815 into our community. This strategy provides residents of Winnebago County bite-sized, shareable messages and information about why our region truly is Your Opportunity Region.

We attended the Paris Air Show with the State of Illinois to showcase our amazing aerospace cluster! Throughout the year we attended shows such as Fabtech and MRO Americas and hosted sips and snack events which create opportunities for increased connectivity for our region further strengthening our advanced manufacturing supply chain.

We continued to connect the dots by welcoming keynote speaker Jim Bridenstine, NASA Administrator to the RAAN Aerospace Symposium. More than 230 people attended the full-day event featuring 38 exhibitors and for the first time, offered matchmaking sessions.

IN THE COMMUNITYWe continue to support the amazing education-to-workforce pipelines that provide a skilled workforce to regional businesses through the CCMS (Critical Core Manufacturing Skills) program in conjunction with Rock Valley

College and local businesses. This is addition to continuing to support the NIU@RVC engineering program and the development of stackable

credentials.

Our staff cohesively connects the dots between business, regional municipal partners, and economic development

partners constructing win/win solutions that benefit all involved. This work of creating connections will continue

into 2020 and propel our region into Top 25 status.
