MAPLE Acer platanoides Description: A dense shade tree with oval form and brilliant golden foliage in spring. In

summer when the leaves take on a more

chartreuse tone they still stand out. Has a high canopy, 7’ from the ground. Prefers

some afternoon shade to prevent leaf scorch.
