At the biannual ISAKOS meeting I was recognized as a young researcher who has done outstanding clinical laboratory research contributing to the understanding of molecular background in muscle injuries and regeneration.

As under-graduate student I spent four years in my home town. The other two years I spent in Tübingen (Germany), Luzern (Switzerland) and Graz (Austria). I continued the post-graduate education at the same University.

I am an orthopaedic surgeon and a sports physician. Also a bachelor of science in media communication and as such an advocate of multidisciplinary approach to all problems.

The same year I �nished the medical school I obtained a bachelor’s degree in media communication and graphic design. Maybe this seems unusual, but it is de�netely practical and one of the best decisions in my life.

In 2015 I attended an educational course in Doha, Qatar. The Advanced Team Physician course was organized by International Olympic Committee.

ESSKA has granted award for basic science for research, performed on skeletel muscle cells, grown in cultures. The differentiation rate and miogenic committment after co-cultivation with plasma-derived growth factors and antifribrotic agents.
