If you have picked up our brochure for the first time welcome to the world of Robert Langford! Let me tell you a little about our company.

I started Robert Langford in 2004 from my spare bedroom with the dream of producing simple, stylish product beautifully and efficiently. My vision was that our product would become the “little black dress” of the design industry; a stylish necessity.

Over the years we have seen great changes in the industry and I am proud to say that our company has grown and changed alongside it.

45% of our annual sales now comprise of “in stock” items. The team and I source some of the most marvellous product both locally and internationally and always have a warehouse full of precious items ready to deliver to you at a moment’s notice. This service is ideal for show home developers, home staging companies and designers with very limited lead-times. Our stock items are constantly updated can be viewed on the website.

Our superior made-to-measure service is an industry favourite. All product is made in the UK by independent craftspeople who we have built relationships with over many years and who have become part of the Robert Langford family. All items can be personalised by supplying your own fabrics and finishes or you can choose from our carefully curated house fabric collection. Most items can be sized to suit your requirements. All you need to do is ask and we are here to offer as much advice as you need.

standing upholstered beds or why

Upholstered Beds:Our upholstered beds are the very

essence of style and sophistication.

Any of our headboard designs can

be used or why not design your

own? The bases are either slatted or

sprung dependent on taste and we

offer various storage solutions,

either deep soft close drawers or an

Italian lift up mechanism that is easy

to use. Pair your bed with one of our

own brand pocketed sprung matt-

resses for a perfect night’s sleep.

Divan Base/ Mattress:Our Divan base and mattress

collection is the preferred choice of

many of our customers. Made in the

UK, all of our mattresses are pocket

sprung and carefully selected to

suit our client needs. We offer

either sprung or platform top divan

bases to suit any taste and all with

an option to add storage drawers.

Alternatively, why not specify our

amazing ottoman divan bases to

take advantage of all available

space for storage. Most customers

choose to cover the divan base with

a fabric to match your headboard,

this makes for a wonderful chic bed

set to go with a good night’s sleep.

The Opal Pocket Sprung Mattress:This is our top of the range mattress and sits comfortably alongside the UK’s most prestigious brands. Hand crafted with 2000 pocket springs per 1500 x 2000 mattress. The Opal has been hand tufted and hand side stitched and is filled with a mix of natural materials including wool and silk. We offer the model in a firm and medium tension to suit all tastes.

The Deluxe 2000 Pocket Sprung Mattress:Our longest standing mattress model, and for good reason. With its 2000 pocket springs per 1500 x 2000 mattress, hand side stitching and the mix of natural and manmade fibres, the Deluxe 2000 is worth its weight in gold. It has a naturally firmer feel and is usually specified for bedrooms that are in constant use.

The Luxury 1800 Pocket Sprung mattress:The one word we use for this model is “reliable”, we have sold it for over 10 years with loads of repeat orders. It has 1800 pocket springs per 1500 x 2000 mattress and is hand side stitched and tufted. The fillings are a mixture of natural and manmade fibres and the mattress feels medium to firm. It works wonderfully in master as well as guest bedrooms.

The Wool Luxury Pocket Sprung mattress:This mattress punches above its weight if you compare build quality to price. It sports 1400 pocket springs per 1500 x 2000 mattress and is side stitched and hand tufted. The fillings are a mix of manmade and natural fibre including cashmere and it is available in both firm and medium qualities. This Wool luxury is competitively priced and is a firm favourite of our regular customers.

Pocket Lux 1000 Pocket Sprung mattress:Perfect for the show home and home staging markets, this mattress offers both good quality and price. It has 1000 pocket springs per 1500 x 2000 mattress, side stitching and tufting for stability and a mix of manmade and natural fillings. Specify this for show homes, guest rooms or anywhere where the budget is tight but the expecta-tions high.
