Moved to New England when he was 11 years old

Attended Dartmouth and Harvard (He never officially graduated)

Spent a few years in England

Met Edward Thomas, an English poet who inspired Frost

Became famous in England and America

Came back to the U.S and lived in MA and VT

Spend time as a teacher and a poet

His Literary Period:Romanticism

Lasted from 1800 to 1860

Originated from New England areas such as Boston and Philadelphia

Values intuition, imagination, inspiration, innocence, and inner experience
