Bateman’s motto “Eye to Eye with Respect” is more than just a statement, but a beliefthat is a guiding principle in the school culture. Since 1993 Robert BatemanSecondary School has had a rich tradition of inspiring excellence in students. Teachersprovide multiple opportunities for learning through both formative and summativeassessments, giving students the tools to succeed as learners. The staff use a Pyramidof Intervention, which includes weekly Extended Learning Opportunities, to helpstudents grow and develop. Clubs showcase student passions in music, art, drama,digital production, environmental stewardship, student leadership, travel andvolunteerism.
