Bateman’s motto “Eye to Eye with Respect” is more than just a statement, but a beliefthat is a guiding principle in the school culture. Since 1993 Robert BatemanSecondary School has had a rich tradition of inspiring excellence in students. Teachersprovide multiple opportunities for learning through both formative and summativeassessments, giving students the tools to succeed as learners. The staff use a Pyramidof Intervention, which includes weekly Extended Learning Opportunities, to helpstudents grow and develop. Clubs showcase student passions in music, art, drama,digital production, environmental stewardship, student leadership, travel andvolunteerism.

Students complete 4subjects in 5 months, 8 total in a yearInternational Students can requestacademic and elective courses, we willdo our best to schedule them howeverthere is no guarantee.5 levels of ESL are available, studentscomplete an online assessment at timeof application.Graduation is possible if studentscomplete BC Graduation Requirements- typically takes 3 semesters or longer
